I love that Stacey has embraced RUclips. Watching this this morning is taking me right back to early morning shade tree mechanic shows I used to catch on the weekends.
Awesome show Stacey. I've been watching since Trucks! I still watch Music City Trucks too, and it looks like they're still using the hoist you got installed? Lol. So awesome. Keep up the good work.
Stacey, awesome episode! Can't wait to see future ones of this build. Thank you for keeping your channel up and running as car shows today seem to have gone away from the normal car person. Keep it up brother!
I just stumbled on your channel. I have been in the game a bit longer, by decades, than most. Cool chassis. The transaxle has always been the issue with such builds. Expensive, hard to get, or weak. Take your pick. As they used to say, you can have it done right, you can have it done cheap, or you can have it done fast, pick two, you can't have all three. Predictably, your transaxle is the weak link. I think I would break it the first time out. Love the exhaust. It wasn't long ago that you couldn't call up a supplier and order such a thing. Installing it is quite a different matter from fabricating it from scratch. It's amazing what can be built today just by calling the right place and ordering the right parts.
Thank you for continuing to take us on your journey!!! Your show is soooo fun to watch! My son and I both really enjoy your show. Keep up the great work! Thank you !
Looks great and I like your choice of engine being a Ford guy. I used to work at Manta Cars in Santa Ana back in the 70s and your "kit" is a quantum leap compared to what we produced.
This car and the Ferrari 288 GTO are my favorite cars of any dream car. I’ve been waiting for a worthy version of the M6 gt and finally its here! New goal marker set….
Here we go again..when you showed the SLC car a few years ago, I almost pulled the trigger on it. But after going on their configurator and coming up with a 6 figure cost just for the kit, I had to pass. Hopefully this one will be more buyer friendly (cheaper) PS..love the Kaase motor! Also love the 180 headers. Just sent my down payment for a set of these for my Pantera, gonna look good with my 4 down-draft webbers!
when i was going up in the 1950 there was no auto shops in school we had a machine shop with lathes surface grinders planers aluminum casting and the hot rodders would take our parts in and make more compression using the tools at hat time i had a 1928 ford coupe it had a 200 ci four banger that would run at 105 flat out like your show cool stuf
Stacy, I want to wide body a car. But when I build the wide body, I don't want to have the ability to remove the panels, instead of the wide body being welded to the body. Which can't be done because the car is fiberglass as well. What would be the best way fo do so...
Question for you Stacey....and all you mechanics out there. Last Sunday I got a new door latch for my 2000 Pontiac Trans Am. Because mine was broken and I couldn’t lock the door anymore. After installing it, I close the latch and pulled the outside handle. It popped open. I close the latch again and pulled the inside handle. It popped open. So I closed the door. Now the door won’t open.🤬After closer looking at the door after I cooled off…😑I can see the door is closed more than it used to be. My guess is the latch is binding on the shaft on the B pillar. I have no idea how to open the door now. Any ideas?🧐
Thinking down the road, it’d be interesting to take this for a visit to a wind tunnel. Might make for a interesting episode, as I suspect there are some minimal changes that could make for some decent performance gains.
Awesome little car but definitely should be tweaked to be more adaptable for different siz e of people , I'm 5'10" I'd probably squeeze in there but doesn't look like Stacey would fit in there to good . Lol
If i ever build a kit car then it is probably going to be a car that are less claustrofobic and more practical. Something like a Mustang or a Camaro kind of car.

That thing is going to be sick ! My buddy had a 351 Cleveland in 77 Ford truck when I was in high school , 4 speed I loved that truck !
Thats one of the best lind of build ! That frame and body is insane !
Stacey never disappoints and takes time to get you up to speed
Another great show Stacey!!!!! Looks like you have the only real car show left after Warner Brothers cancelled every Motortrend show!!!!!!
Thanks Stacey!

The exhaust is called 180 degree headers improves exhaust scavenging. Read up on it 👍
Could you imagine doing those headers for the very first time!
Good luck getting a windshield for this car!
I had a 302 grabber and a mustang 2 with a 302. Cheapest fun cars I ever used.
I contacted KAASE & they said they were Not making the SBF 289/302/351 P38 Heads anymore? WTH?
I hope this doesn't turn out like the SLC kit car went on this show.

TV show hard castle and McCormick the Cody Coyote
My thoughts exactly.

Manta Montage...not really McLaren inspired like the tube framed V8 powered Manta.

Love that car it's gonna be awesome when it's done
best build of all time🥳

It looks like a Cody coyote from Hardcastle and McCormick!
My dream car!
@insaneconqueror5421 drive to keep in gear! Under the hood got the bad and good. 😃
Way to go Stacey!👍
Does the exhaust have a crossover for one cylinder from each bank?
Awesome!
P L E A S E make a Cody Coyote out of this vehicle!! I know the Manta Montage was originally used but the Montage was also a replica of the M6GT...
If I built this kit I would paint it up as the Coyote X, there's just no other paint job that would fit.

Man, that front clamshell is rough as a corn cob enema. That's going to take days to sort.
RUclips has a broken crankshaft! I gave the video a thumbs up, and the site still shows zero thumbs up.
Thanks anyway!
For it to show you have to exit the vid and return to it
@@sketchyssk8shop Thanks. Got to love RUclips glitches.

Make sure your armrest still subscribed. I checked to see if I was and it just said subscribe and not subscribed
Inspired
Reminds me of the Coyote from the 80's show Hardcastle and McCormick
if I had the money I would love to build my Stirling Nova using this chassis and making it a mid engine.
👍👍
Does anyone make that style intake for a bbc that would be cool.
Manta Mirage or Manta Montage from the 70s ? 🙂
While the pipes are accessible , wouldn’t that be a good time to WRAP them ?
Please don't put led headlights in it.
Headers look cool but seem like a nightmare for checking/changing spark plugs.
Should have used the mirage body instead of the montage
That body screams Hardcastle and McCormick Coyote X car.
Missing granny bolts ?
Funny hair
What happened ???????????????????????????????????????????
all sponsored commercials for builds. naw, don't need that
burn-outs in the parkinglot; jr. high education
Looks like a Coyote kit car.
Ford in a McLaren is sacrilege
Why? Bruce McLaren won Le Mans in a Ford.
@Mi-Chis McLaren cars from McLaren in sports cars always ran chevies. The real M6BGT ran a chevy
You might try googling ‘McLaren M81 Mustang.’

Calling this car a McLaren 6GT might be of interest to the actual McLaren car company legal team?
Ok ken🙄
