@@theresearchfiles Thanks. Actually I entered my surname as "C D" and name as "A B" when my passport name is "A B C D". Had no issue with immigration and customs 😊 I guess as long it has all the names from passport should be fine.
Well I think it's more convenient and faster. Without visit japan web- you have to fill out the paper form before passing immigration. For Customs, you have to fill out the paper declaration and proceed to another queue.

If your passport just has "name" with full name and no surname, what do you fill in the "surname"?
Hi if you don't have a surname, just enter a '-' in the Surname field.
If you scan your passport, it will automatically fill the information for you
