Good Morning I like the precision of those cabinet doors - we are renovating an old stone barn in the alpes and your ideas are an inspiration to our project … I have a similar suggestion as brown-eyedgirl858 above - a space for things you need often, but don’t want to be seen. I‘d probably hide some cleaning tools in there - shovel, broom, cloths etc.

How to use that hidden niche next to the cabinet? Since the extended shelf is resting on brackets, place a plastic container to hold dog food. Opening looks big enough to reach through and scoop out his dinner. That's what I saw. Beautiful kitchen. Ohio, USA

With one of the shots today I saw how the blue-green colour of the kitchen cabinets perfectly matches the colour of the stones by the fireplace. It looked so good before, but now I understand the choice even more. Your attention to detail shows in the fit of the cabinet doors. I hope that the company will send you a new door at no cost to you. I also see how the use of the doors which are flat to the wall allows the one carved door to be a highlighted even more than having all of your doors carved. Clever! I bought some of those ‘deep hole’ pencils. They are very useful. They can be lost as easily as a regular pencil.

Baking pan storage comes to immediate mind with the void under the counter. Or a potato/onion, root vegetable storage.
