I ride with paul all the time, he is a great driver. I does come down to air pressure as well and even the type of tire. Bighorns being really good for sand. There is still a good reason to get sand tires. I missed this trip due to work conflicts but will try again sometime next year.
The knobby tires in the sand brings up a curious question. I got a set of used rampages from my buddy's turbo r and threw them on my talon and went to the dunes. They did amazing. But on my x3 which has the stock carnivores, the x3 didn't perform well at all.
He actually had the stock tires on his. His car is very light and tuned and if you notice he keeps his momentum up. He is a Good driver for sure but these new heavier cars it will hurt you a lot more. Running good paddles is important with the heavy cars.
@ driver skill makes all the difference. I can definitely see how weight needs paddles. My buddy has 37" zillas on his pro r I'd like to see in the sand.
Homeboy in the X3 was ripping. On dirt tires and keeping up with a big power Pro R is impressive.
@@Slappyracecars for sure he can drive
X3’s still the best 🤘💪🏻🕺
@@dwayneeverett755 it does have the best power to weight out of the box for sure

Thank you Kevin! Big horns do work great been using them in the RedBull Sand Scramble every year.

Yeah I was definitely eating buckets of sand!!!
Stormtrooper (Paul) is honestly one of the best duners I've ever had the privilege to rip with. To add. Thats how I lost my insta. The stick broke lol

@ I could be wrong but guessing horrible just big and heavy not light and wide
lower your tire pressure to 6-8 psi in the sand with the Carnivores and they get excellent traction.
@@it_is_wat_it_iz ya for sure
Good video 🤘🏼 what do you use for wind reduction on insta360?
Nothing just overlay music or some go pro sound if I can find it
Looked like the pink Speed was in 2wd when being pulled out??
4 wd wasn’t working 🤷
I’m sooo there 🚗💨🥇😁

Hard pass on the rainbow phone.
