      @therie0911 I remember diving into the deep end of the pool and staying down as I ran out of ( a nutrient called oxygen I became quite anxious and scared. You may take an interest in studying B1 thiamine deficiency and its clinical or sub clinical symptoms. Actually B3, B12 and the others. I found some great info from Dr Eric Berg and E O nutrition (Elliott Overton) channels. Getting morning sunshine standing in wet soil barefoot always brightens my perspective for the day. I recently found mold in my condo. I have been sick on and off but really sick since I started working from home. ER visits, doctors, tests - all said I was fine. Now I know that’s not true and reading some of these comments gives me hope to know I’m not alone. But I can’t just move out, an apartment in central Florida is at least $1K more per month than what I pay now, and that would mean an entire months salary for a place to stay. Calling the property management and hoping this can be fixed - it finally has clicked on what’s wrong when I do everything else right! And the doctors all said “anxiety” - NO, it’s MOLD! 😢

    I am so happy I found your video. You are so very helpful. I moved out of an apartment because it was making me so sick. I had maintenance guys and plumbers in and out telling me they could not find anything. I would occasionally smell a sewer smell or other unpleasant smells but never when the plumbers were around. It was so frustrating. I broke my lease and got a new apartment. Then at my new place, I was still having the same horrible symptoms and one night I woke up in my bed and it felt like I had pins and needles poking me all over. I finally figured out that I had to have brought mold spores from my other place. So depressed since I have cross-contaminated my new home. Just had most of my furniture taken away and I am staying at a hotel and trying to clean out my other place. I am so overwhelmed. Thank you so much for your video. You have given me hope.

    Thank you for sharing your experience. I am so sorry that you have been through this but glad you have improved. I am having a similar experience but some of the symptoms are different. But I identify with your admission that you didn't know much about mold until you had so many concerns about your health and trying different approaches for improvement. I live in a condo and there has always been mold in the basement common area along with a musty odor which traveled upstairs to the common entry area just outside my Condo unit. I have had some very strange symptoms since about 2018 with restless leg, hearing loss and tinnitus which resulted in insomnia. Also chronic coughing. I also had digestive issues and cravings for junk food. So when COVID came in March 2020 I starred working from home. That is when my coughing got worse. I started wheezing, had shortness of breathe, sneezing, itchy eyes, blurry vision, heart palpitations just sitting in my living room. So I went to the doctor because I was afraid it was COVID. But my doctor was convinced it was an environmental illness. I suspected that it might be the mold although I knew nothing about it. I mostly thought it was in the basement and I am just above it but didn't have concerns because there was no mold in my Condo unit. So I hired a Licensed Mold Inspector an he did seven Air samples three of which were in my unit and four in the basement. The lab results indicated Aspergillus/penicillin, and Cladisporium in my unit. There was exact mold types in the basement an in the entrance in common area outside my entrance door. My doctor recommended a Functional Medicine Center where I was tested for Mycotoxin in my system. The tests came back positive for the same mold indicted from the air tests. Currently I am working hard to get the Mold remediate. My doctor documented her request for me to go to the HOME OWNERS ASSOCIATION (HOA) to inform them. I took her note, the air testing results, and my medical lab reports. I then called the health department of the county where I RESIDE. THEY referred me to the BUILDING AND CODES DEPARTMENT in the town where I live. BUILDING an CODES can create LEVERAGE if needed. The code stated that each commercial property is responsible for providing a clean, safe, and healthy environment for their patrons. The property management has been dragging their feet for three months and giving the building and Codes people flimsy excuses. First they were on vacation, then the holidays. I am still living in the environment and have no where else to go. So today building and Codes came with their inspector. THEY took photos and stated that they were going Violate the HOA and the property management. So I am making PROGRESS trying to get the Mold remediated. In the mean time I am taking all recommended supplement and binders, and using an Infrared Sauna three time per week which produces purfuse sweating to get the Mycotoxin out of my body. Also a gluten free, sugar free, and dairy free diet to heal my digestive system from leaky gut caused by the Mold. I have also been trying to hire a lawyer which has been another ordeal. REAL estate lawyer refers me to a personal injury lawyer and the personal injury lawyer refers me to a real estate lawyer. Round and round I go. I am not going to give up until the Mold has been remediated and the finally the Mold spores are cleaned out of the Air in my unit, and then I will rent an ozone generater to kill the Mold spores then get someone to professionally clean all my possessions. Hope I will find a lawyer to reimburse me for expenses and I can get back to normal. Sorry this is so long winded but thinking that someone may identify or be helped in some way. Take care everyone and good luck in the future living mold free. I can't wait!

    How on earth can people afford to move house, ditch most of their belongings and replace them- all in addition to costs of therapists etc? If there's one thing I know about long-term sickness, it leads to poverty and so you end up with folks who cannot recover because they don't have the resources. There's not a dog in hell's chance I could move or ditch and replace my things when I can barely even afford to live.

    Gosh. I would get sick every spring for a month that no medication or treatment worked for and also would wake up gasping for air at night randomly throughout the year. This happened for several years before I lost my job near 2020 and stayed home a lot. I got sick just like I always did around Spring but this time I didn't get better. Symptoms would come and go for months before it settled on 24/7 brain fog, and unrefreshed sleep by end of year. Developed subclinical hypothyroid by end of 2021. Involuntary head twitching by end of 2022. So many tests and imaging. All clear. Looked into mold because our HVAC had it and water would come through the back of house if it rained a lot. Sure enough, the test showed every species of water damage mold in the home. My nephew, and sister developed a chronic cough for years that got better once they left. My other sister developed asthma soom after moving in. The red flags seemed so obvious when I actually sat down and thought hard. So full of regret. Moved out 3 weeks ago after 3 1/2 years of symptoms. I pray my body can heal. You're one of the few I've seen develop sub clinical hypo thyroid from this. We had no family history of it! I knew something was weird but acted so late...I hope I can heal as you did. Half the house showed symptoms and the other half seem unbothered! Mold is crazy.

    I have lived in a senior rental in Maryland (run by Enterprise, a theoretical non-profit) 13 mpnths, complaining of "black stuff" coming out of window unit a/c and heater (Amana) the entire time. Learned renter before me complained constantly of "black stuff"coming out of unit, heard her doc told her to move. Now I have chest pain, coughing, eyes burn at times, my dog is very ill, and I am fatiguued. During Candian fires, I used a/c nonstop--now lassitude, shallow breathing, chest pain hair loss, etc. A personal injury lawyer said if I have mold allergy a year after reporting this, to call them back. I see it is expensive what I will need to clear this out. (and it will never really go I have learned) thank you. I think this merits national news, as black mold can cause death.

I couldn’t understand why I was sick all the time. I got my tonsils removed… I also remember my sisters kids where young and I always was frustrated being around them because I would get every little bug they had. I still to this day in my late 30’s get sick a lot with my own daughter. When everyone gets sick it lasts 2-3 days and can last a week or more with me.

Also developed Fibromyalgia or some other dr called it tietze syndrome - 99% gone now. Had no clue that I was allergic to mold. I'm now much better although I'm now way more sensitive to all kinds of things - good for my body to have more awareness. chlorella tabs (2x25) i prefer over charcoal. and I love eating tons of raw garlic. and I sleep now everyday grounded with a copper wire connected to the heating pipes in my new room. has many health benefits.

I was rushed to ER, vitals including o2 sats 100%, cxr and ekg were normal and was sent home. I know something’s really wrong with me. I scheduled an appointment with my dr. She ordered labs including d dimer as she suspected Pulmonary embolism. Covid negative, D dimer was elevated and got really worried about PE, ER dr advised me to go to ER. Did a ct scan and negative so was sent home. 4th day feeling better, but still unable to deep breathe, continued my long acting and rescue inhalers. I search thru the room and found a mold behind my side table, which I didn’t know how long it has been there. Now I’m searching for ways how to detox from these molds. For the extreme sensitivity to stuff like low levels of mold etc, DNRS etc is really great. Then again I am not sensitive to mold or even items in that sick building, I am not a sensitive person at all. But I did have vitiligo (auto-immune) when I worked in that building, I believe that set me up for failure. I’ve been in many buildings since and feel no different , however the building that got me sick. When I did get sick I noticed I got very sick in there.

    You didn’t mention about testing - urine tests are the popular thing it seems, recommended to me by a nutritionist here in the U.K. but according to a doctor (Andrew Campbell) I emailed in the states who sells a blood test, blood tests are the only reliable way to diagnose fungal illness… of course he is selling the tests… also neither are suitable for diagnosing nasal mycosis.
    It’s an annoying potential problem in my case I have dry sinus not sinusitis and no lung issues, I’ve taken the urine test which was positive for a few apparently potentially pathogenic spores - but apparently urine test doesn’t measure toxicity only what your body is outputting, not what it is storing.

      Oralie Bordeaux I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this. The first step is moving but if you can not do this right away I would start with doing your best to be outdoors as much as possible. Long walks and working up a sweat is a good way to detox, dry brushing, drinking lots of water. If you’re working with a naturopath ask them what you can take and how much that is the most effective. Charcoal is quite inexpensive and a good way to pull out mould. It’s not an easy journey but you can heal from it. Trust in the process and give your body time.

    So I'm in the process of moving to a new apartment now and when i visited it didn't look like there was any mold at all. But it's a recently constructed building. Like the air inside the building has the smell of a brand new material type( most likely because as you said in the video, brand new materials release certain chemicals right?) My question is, as this building has no mold in it but the air is smelling a little bit of the " fresh new building", do you think that this would be a problem, even though i will no be exposed to mold anymore? Dawn I'm so sorry to hear this. Do your best to remove yourself from the situation as soon as possible. In the meantime look into the things I mentioned to start clearing it out of your body. Spend as much time as you can outdoors and in nature if possible. Removing yourself or fixing the home is ultimately what will help you heal. At least you know where the problems are coming from.

    Hi, did you get rid of electronics/appliances such as a tv, laptop? I’m going through this process now and am wondering if I also need to get rid of these.

    • @rocofit
      @rocofit  3 года назад +1

      I didn't. The only thing I did around electronics was I removed them all from my bedroom. I stopped using my phone as my alarm clock. I also got blue light blocking glasses and I made sure my phone was on airplane mode if I was carrying it in my pocket.

      @@rocofit Why do electronics matter if you don't mind? I've been sick with mold illness for a year, my naturopathic didnt mention it. I am allergic to everything else tho now because of mold, all chemicals/foods/dogs/cats/ you name it.

      I’m so sorry to hear you are suffering. The first thing is to find out where the mold is. You may need to have your home tested. If it’s at home you may need to move. It’s impossible to get better if you’re still being exposed. I wish you healing and Heath. It is possible to get better.

    did u completely healed ? how do u feel after 3 years of u post that video ? and did ur sleep was affected during ur ilness ? is it healed now ?

    • @rocofit
      @rocofit  Год назад +3

      I just saw this. Yes I did completely heal. It was a long journey but I no longer suffer from any of the mold symptoms. My sleep was impacted. I use to wake up in the middle of the night gasping for air. I don’t know if it was from the mold or at that point my stress knowing the mold was impacting my health. I now tell everyone about it because I believe so many are suffering from it and don’t know as I didn’t.

      I didn't use this. I did use binders such as apple pectin and charcoal.
