How to Make a Floating Shelf

Keeping the Nintendo Switch on the floor was too cluttered so I made this floating shelf out of a piece of walnut that I have had for years! Now the components are neatly stored under the TV on the wall. Using a "Keyhole Router Bit" I was able to make this project happen easily. Link for the router bit and details below.

Does not look very stable
Sure I wouldn’t stand on it but it’s more than stable for its intended use.
@@diywithandrew @2:58 it looks like if you were to put the switch towards the front it would eventually break. With only 2 screws that are about a 1/4" in the wood does not seem very stable to me.
