This is very helpful ! Now I can install that sign at Home Depot for all us wandering thru the aisles looking for an Employee "Abandon all Hope Yee who Enter Here..." Thank you, your work here does not go unnoticed 😊🤗
We purchased 2 bathroom mirrors and when I saw that they were to hang via keyhole slots I was a concerned. Not much room for error in such design. I used this method to locate the anchor holes and the install went perfectly. I added strips of painter’s tape on the frames to mark the center of the holes and this made alignment a bit easier. Thank you for the professional tips!
Typically with a keyhole slot router bit on a router table. The bit makes the large hole and also the hidden smaller slot that retains the screw/nail/etc. that you put in the wall.
THANK YOU!!!! I wish I had seen this before I gouged two holes in my wall!
lol

Nice technique!
Suggestion: Consider providing a link in the description to the screws and drywall anchors you recommend.
Or you could just use Google lol
@@emloufox - No, it's much easier to ask others to make the effort than to have to lift a GD finger myself.

How does Drakestone Designs make the keyhole slots into the shelf? .
Typically with a keyhole slot router bit on a router table. The bit makes the large hole and also the hidden smaller slot that retains the screw/nail/etc. that you put in the wall.
Great demo! How does the screw head slide into the smaller slot? At the bottom of the hole there's a sleeve too for the head to slide into?
Fantastic
Amazing
