Blade 250cfx -ESC replacement and head upgrade

I'm replacing the ESC because it's junk. Also replaced the head with a metal head because the blade grips are... junk.
Ohhh and replaced the weak landing gear, because it's junk.
Eflight Blade's motto is '#1 by design' ... yeah right!! You make some good stuff and some of it us just shockingly shite!

Any chance of wiring diagram for replacing the esC with the two others as I am thick, Dave.

Hi Joe! I know it is years ago that you posted this, but I just bought a 250 CFX as it was in the sale of my local shop. The same thing happened to me, the ESC failed after just 2 flights. I bought a new one, which also failed on the main motor after the third flight. Then I put a separate esc for the main motor on, combined with the still intact esc for the tail, which is working, however, the dual esc gets immensly hot!
After trying a few things I noticed, the original esc gets instantly hot, as soon as you connect the battery. So I thought I could do what you suggest, which is also replacing the rear esc. But how do you then connect the signal cables? There are logically 2 coming out from the dual esc, I tried all variants, but does not work. Have you succeeded replacing both esc's and how?
After contacting horizon hobby they told me the it is not possible to replace the dual esc. Thinking about it, I guess the dual esc board also has electronics on it like gyros etc?
Would be great if you could give me some tips :) and hope you are still flying!🙂

You can use a 12a esc and a 25a esc and for the rear motor you pull the red cable out of the plug at the receiver connection.

Could you please tell me the length of your 3 servo links on the 250 CFX. I'm having a setup nightmare trying to figure out the length they should be.

22mm / 22mm / 22.5mm on the elevator

Yeah you're probably right, I have a Gaui X3 too, but I like the smaller heli's. I'm happy with the 250cfx, nice and strong frame, not plastic junk like the 230s frame!
