I recently tried to upgrade my CPU to the 8320 E but I am unable to get anything to work. My motherboard is the 78lmt usb 3 but it is the rev 5.0 which only has 1 bios available to download. The computer comes on, the fans spin but there is nothing on screen. Can you anyone help?

just got into BIOS and make sure it selects the HD to boot, you will need to reinstall drivers afterwards, unless it keep give you the bluescrren, then just reinstall OS

Man, Id love to have your good fortune. My board absolutely WILL NOT detect SATA drives in BIOS on any of the 5 ports, regardless of the BIOS settings. Damned infuriating...
I am also using 7700k with MSI mobo, i asked some guys on toms hardware if i should upgrade to this and put it with my RX 460 and they said no, also said FM2 is joke and AM3 is dead.
@eykssc415 looking back those guys were bias pricks, i foung out that the FX6300 is one of the bets CPU's you can buy for the money and the FX8350 is good with an RX470 (which i have now). I over clocked the 7700K and its moving very fast but the numbers are still the same, the performance changed but the numbers didnt. GTA 5 is so smooth now since i overclocked. Soon i will buy either Ryzen R5 1600 or the FX6300/FX 8350. I sorry those biased pricks told me foolishness but i didnt buy anything other than the RX470.

@@xxxnoobsailbotxxx6307 i already solved the problem for me it was i needed to connect a extra 8 pin tp the motherboard for extra power to the cpu and bought a extra +2 8 pin connecter for my GPU's

No, i have one fx8320e same motherboard, I overlooked to 4.4ghz with no error, temperature in gaming stables around 60c - 70c max.

if it does not post, try the memory on a different board, change the order of the ram, slot 1, slot 2,
also use the on-board video first to see if anything shows up
