This is a great basic and no fuss with motherboard. I built two gaming systems with it in the last 6 months. Excellent performance and value. Simply load it with 1600 mhz+ ram and it will set that speed in the BIOS nothing to futz with at all. It has the Two drawbacks: 1. PCIe port is blocked by the PCIex16 2.0 port (basically rendering the slot useless with a modern GPU) 2. Only two Fan headers (CPU and Chassis)

any card would fit as long as your case is big and power supply puts out enough real juice and a AMD FX-8350 would run perfect as long as you didn't overclock it or put it to 4.2ghz turbo only
+Chris Wright I don't have the mobo... but I know you can overclock a FX 6350 (125w) to 4.2 without voltage, 4.4ghz and higher with fan on the north/sbridge heatsinks. but this has 4+1 powerphase so only recommended if you overclock 6-cores, and not 8-cores though someone on a asrock 970m pro3 got 4.2ghz on a 8320e which is same chip as 8320 only few watts more efficient, so I say... try it, It might be worth it

Got one about a week ago and paired it with an FX-8320E. Overclocked it a bit (basically just set all 8 cores to the turbo speed of 4.0 Ghz). Runs quite cool with an old Xigmatek cooler I had laying around. The BIOS isn't UEFI, but its straightforward and easy to navigate. Having just SATA 2 instead of SATA 3 really hasn't affected my gaming performance (which is all I do besides browsing). Can't tell any difference between it and my other PCs with SATA 3. I have just one gripe - not enough fan headers. Other than that its about the best cheap motherboard you can get for AM3+. Got mine for $40 after rebate.

My main PC has an i7-4790k and when using the same video card (GTX 970) the Intel allows me higher quality settings and higher FPS in demanding areas. Still, the FX-8320E is fine for the price. Mine just won't work anymore. When I plug my PSU into the MoBo the PSU is on but the fan doesn't kick. Not only that but the CPU fan and the GPU fan don't even spin or move. Its like something is blocking or cutting off power to the rest of the devices. I'm disappointed. I've only had this set up for a little over three years.
what is this 760 chipset? The only known chipsets really for the am3 are the 970 and 990fx. Im building a htpc with amd but leery about the 760 chipset. Not common at all

Yes, thats the CPU I use for this motherboard also, the FX 6300 6 Core. I went to newegg and got any Name Brand memory that was going for $50 for 16GB (8x2), in my case it was Crucial.

I don't think a 500W PSU good enough. The 9590 has a TDP ranging in the 200s and under a lot of load it can reach a lot more. Add the graphics card and it's almost 60% of the power your PSU can supply.

Yes, it will, but I wouldn’t recommend it. The motherboard here only supports DDR3 ram, and you’ll need DDR4 with a 1650 to use it effectively. I’d recommend getting a budget friendly motherboard like an ASUS Prime B560-A.

Masud Parvej Sani Well it depends. The 950 has a transfer rate of 825MB/s. If your motherboard has a PCIe 2.0 x16 port it will easily handle it - it's basically the same thing as PCIe 3.0 x8. So PCIe 2.0 has a transfer rate of 500 MB/s. That means you'll only need a hypothetical PCIe 2.0 x2 port to run your 950 without any bottlenecking on the motherboard's port. It does have a 2.0 x16 port, so you're fine.
Fiddliest most uncooperative board I've ever dealt with - wish I'd never seen the damned thing. Just about ready to take it out to the gun range. BIOS won't detect a SATA hard drive, regardless of the settings. I've built maybe 30 systems in the past decade & change, so it's not like I'm inexperienced. Damned disappointing unit IMHO.
Would be nice you familiarize yourself with the technologies before you post a video. The AM3+ board and SATA 2 are long outdated even long before you posted this video. It's an entry level motherboard. You really need to go to AMD and read some white papers, on the FX and A-series AMD processors and the latest technologies which they support.
AM2 and AM3 are the exact same sockets, AM3+ has one extra pin hole for FX cpus, AM3 cpus will fit exactly like an AM3 socket, Technically in someway, an am2 cpu should fit in am3 socket
