- Опубликовано: 10 авг 2022
- In this video I go over the steps needed to conduct a three-hole oil change for your Harley Davidson touring model motorcycle. I use HD products, but you can use whatever you like. I have over 70K miles on my street glide and have been doing my oil changes in this exact way with no issues the entire time. Thanks for watching and I hope this helps you save a few dollars.

Great video! I just got my latest street bike( Ultra Limited), and I'm watching all the videos I can from experienced owners on how to take care of it. Your ride is awesome. Thanks for the advice!
Thanks for checking it out! 🤙🏽👊🏽
Good video ! When I had a Harley I always took it to the dealership to get the oil changed . When I get my next one , I’ll definitely be doing it at home !!
You can yourself so much money doing it yourself. Thanks for watching brother 👊🏽
great how to Nore. You can definitely save a lot of green over the life of a bike if you do this regular maintenance yourself. Great share buddy..RIde safe
Thanks! Definitely can save tons of $$.
Great job Nore, so different than my bike. I drop one drain plug and the filter and fill her up. Great way to do it the same way every time to, kind of a mental checklist so you don't forget anything.👍
Yup, so easy doing it exactly the same every time. Never skip a step that way. Yours is way easier with just one drain and a filter compared to mine. Thanks for watching brother 👊🏽
Great job Nore and informative!
Thanks RJ! Trying to help the next person who's thinking of doing it on their own. 🤙🏾
Great video brother! I love doing my own service. We make sure it gets done the right way.
Exactly 💯. You don't know what they doing to the bike in the back. Thanks for stopping by and watching brother 👊🏾
Thanks for a great Video Nore
Thanks for the support! 👊🏾🤘🏾
Thanks for sharing this big Nore! Appreciate the thorough directions man.
Thanks brother! Trying to help the next person save a buck in this economy. 👊🏾🤙🏾
@@GlidingOnTwos I know that’s the Truth!
Great video. I think thats the the most detailed video I've seen yet for doing that. I like that low profile oil catch. Gotta get one of those.
Thanks Jerry! Tried to make it as informative as possible without dragging it out, 😂.
Great video I love wrenching on my own bike
It's the only way to make sure it's done correctly. Thanks for watching brother 👊🏽
Great job, Nore, a very helpful video which can save people money. 😉✌️
Thanks! I figured during the times we're currently having, something like this can help someone save some money. Thanks for your support Roger!
I'm totally down with on this. I knock out all three every 5k. Why not? It literally takes minutes since you're already down there doing the oil. Great job Nore!
Yes, doesn't take much time or effort to do it. Have to keep the bike happy so it can keep you happy. 👊🏾🤙🏾
awesome video
Thanks brother 👊🏽
Nicely done sir 🤘
Thanks Greg! 🤘🏾 Much appreciated!
Great tutorial. Rock a bye baby rock a bye love the bike! 🤙🏼
Thanks bro! 😂😂
Fresh fluids is never a bad thing xD
No it isn't. Thanks for watching brother 👊🏽
Awesome Video Brother
Thanks brother!
Oh you share so well my friend . Great . too much experience
Thanks
*Nice video, like!!!👍*
Thank you and thanks for stopping by and watching! If you haven't already done so, consider subscribing for future content. 🤙🏾
I buy the K&N filters with the 17mm on the end….I need one of those oil pans. I used a dollar tree disposable pan.
The dollar tree pans are good for when you're on the road doing some serious miles. That's what I use and then just change my oil in the autozone parking lot. That way I can just go inside and quickly dispose of the oil in their cans. 🤣. Thanks for watching brother 👊🏽
Nice job 👍. I put a short piece of 2x6 under the kick stand to level the bike when doing the primary. Use caution with that because you don't want the bike to flop over on the other side. But it's worked for me for years.
Thanks! I use to put the piece of wood under it as well.
Yeah did mine last week. I try to do as much as I can myself. shop costs to damn much. LOL. Nice how Nore 👍
Yeah, I'd rather pay myself the $120 an hour for labor, 🤣🤣. Thanks for watching Roy! 👊🏽
Good deal 👌. Here a tip on safe take derby cover off1st before you take primary drain plug . Just case you strip one derby blots .
Good tip Doyle. Thanks! 🤙🏾
@@GlidingOnTwos thank I'm just passing it on I forget who told me .
Boom!!! Numero Uno!
🤣🤣 first place 🏆
Let's go Sean!
I have the same Amazon LED back lights at 08:50 , those darn things tip over if your sneeze on them! 😂
🤣🤣, they do tip over easy. I thought I was doing something wrong, but you just confirmed that it's the light and not me 😂.
@@GlidingOnTwos Facts! It ain't you! 😂😂😂
Great tutorial! Try oil with zinc in it. Valvoline makes it. Amsoil is good as well.
Thanks brother 👊🏽! I'll try it on the next change. ✌🏾
Great video Nore! Very thorough on explaining the fluid changes on your Street Glide. Good maintenance goes a long way 🏍🔧👍
What kind of oil does your bike take? Getting all that fluid from the dealer isn’t really that bad of a deal. My Scout takes 15w60 which has got to be the weirdest oil weight out there lol. The only place I’ve found it was at the dealer and Amsoil sells it too, but you still have to get the oil filter, so I might as well buy the oil change kit from Indian.
I put 20w50 in mine. I say $100 for materials ain't bad at all. Especially when you don't have to pay labor, 🤣. Thanks for watching Nick! 👊🏾🤙🏾
primary and transmission fluid generally still looks clean.
Yeah, those always still look good because they're normally not due until 10-15k miles. I just have a habit of doing all three holes at the same time at 5k miles. Thanks for watching brother and stay safe!

Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for your support Larry! 👊🏾🤙🏾
💯👍
Thanks for watching and commenting. Much appreciated! 👊🏾🤙🏾
Is that your motorcycle sir??? Good work, you does maintenance your motorcycle by your self..
Yes sir it is. Thanks
I get my oil done every 2500 because I don’t believe in synthetic oil. I have the other ones done every 5k. That’s cool maybe someday I’ll do it myself lol 😂
You can definitely save some money in the long run doing it yourself, especially if you're doing it every 2500 miles.
I got a 2016 streetglide is it the same oil type for all 3 holes?
Yes, I would use the same as in this video.
Syn 3 for the motor, formula + for transmission and primary.
2nd....
Second place 🏆
3rd 🥉 lol 😂
Third place 🏆
this start like a prison movie, lol, facial expression and all. 3 holes, little hole, all the way inserted, do all three holes. No one can do an oil change video and not make it sound dirty lol
😂😂😂. I'm glad it was at least entertaining. 🤘🏾
For a working class guy or one thats on a fixed income...Gotta do as much work on your HD as possible yourself...Because there is times you gotta take it in to the Shop when you realisticly cant do it you self...
Yessir! I do almost all the work myself so I can save for when I can't. 👊🏾🤙🏾
@@GlidingOnTwos And it still hurts you when you cant do it yourself...
@@bradlozano2571 yup!
The manual says what it says, because changing in before it’s due is just wasting your money 🤪
Some folks say that a shower is only needed once a week, but do you take one everyday or just say screw it and hop your dirty butt in the bed cause it ain't due til the end of the week? 🤷🏾♂️😂🤣
