  • An officer who was required to monitor Darrell Brooks during his trial for the Waukesha Christmas parade attack, testified that there was no shock device placed on Brooks' ankles, despite the defendant claiming he was told it was a shock device. Brooks was found guilty of 76 counts including 1st degree intentional homicide, which carries a life sentence. Brooks will be formally sentenced on November 15.

Brooks and his mother should be made to get down on their knees and apologise for their actions. His mother is as responsible as him for this tragedy. Her laziness to parent and refusal to instil a sense of decency in her spawn have allowed him to go through life hurting anyone he pleases and not facing consequences for his actions. She has gone on television and blamed the state for not helping Brooks with his mental health and she says people are hurting because he wasn’t helped. How disgusting is that? She should’ve raised him properly. She didn’t. She shouldn’t have conspired with him to bully Erika into dropping her abuse charges. She shouldn’t have bailed him out two days before he murdered and maimed innocent people. Instead of blaming others for the mistake she birthed in 1982, she should be on her knees begging for forgiveness for disgusting comments and for her terrible, lazy failure to raise that brat properly. Citing mental illness as the cause for this tragedy is as bad as physically murdering the victims like he did. I hope she’s made to suffer in some way for the actions her spawn inflicted upon the people of Waukesha. I hope she struggles to sleep and I hope she’s tormented for the rest of her life. Brooks has no capacity for shame or remorse - the night he murdered and maimed innocent children and adults, he slept soundly while being watched over by a police officer. Brooks has never once shown anything other than arrogance and indifference for the misery he caused. His mother has the same attitude - blame everyone else and deny, deny, deny.

He wasn't prepared for many of the opportunities where he could have proved his case. He kept challenging the court on subject matter jurisdiction.
