Anxious to hear if the appeal, which I’m sure he will file, will go through. Giving him 6 life sentences PLUS 859 years was music to my ears😊😊😊. And the Judge patiently documented each & every incident. Not many Judges have the kind of patience she displayed. And the DA totally cooperated in making this trial an efficient process. I'm sure they had to totally chan ge their presentation after he decided to represent himself. The DA subpoenaed witnesses for him for cripes sake.

I just retired as a Lieutenant in the Department of Correction, I have never heard of an ankle shock device. I worked for the State of Maryland DOC 3 years and 15 years in CT where I retired, the only device that I ever used was the waist belt with taser capability, I think one of court officers was playing funny on this clown. Granted there my be such a device, I’ve never seen or heard of one👮🏾‍♂️

It's definitely not a shock device. It's probably an ankle bracelet with a proximity alarm and a tracking device. It's extremely common for people on house arrest and people with a history of trying to escape to get one put on their ankle in order to track them down if they attempt to run away.

Judge and a witness(Brooks' prison guard?)said it's a soft shackle type made of leather that is 4ft long so he can move. The reason was apparently to protect him. If the jury hears that he is shackled, they will have an impression that he is dangerous and can/will attack anytime that is why he is shackled to the table. And if the jury thinks that, it might affect their psyche and not be impartial in the trial.
