You're energy is infectious! I smile every time I watch you're videos! Great job guys😃
He stresses me out cause he acts so stupid
Thanks for showing these techniques y’all are always so cute and real - that’s what makes your channel so awesome
Thanks Heather 😍
Also... This is the first where I saw someone use a vinyl stencil. I started screen printing with vinyl stencils... I love this technique... GREAT VIDEO!!! ONE OF MY FAVORITES SHOWING THIS...
You could.use the all purpose flour technique lay image down trace with flour an outline then go in and paint the areas to be bleached with bleach paint on with a paint brush. Skip the whole vinyl step.. But like always love the videos you 2 are Great...
🤣 You guys ALWAYS crack me up...awesome! Thank you for being so chill and not uptight!
These are really cool looking. YEP! USPS not only do they not care about your package but they open them too.....AND.....they can't read. Cannot tell you how many refunds I've gotten due to misdelivered items. Like alot of your viewers, I was a Christmas victim as well. K & G, you were great on the replacements. Thank you. Love you guys♥️
Thanks for the continued love and support Lois!!! 😍
Most crushed boxes are the shippers bad packaging. Not enough protection inside the box. Glad y'all fixed that problem
Loved the positive vibes!!! Beautiful shirts, too!!!🎉🎉🎉
I'm only 3 minutes in and I'm like... I love theses two! Ok, back to the video...
Ha! 🥰
Me too
I Like humble ppl. Gb
Awesome bleach technique! Required more materials but came out AMAZING!!! Love how "Magical AF" tee turned out but @ $50/10 sheets 😳
Lol, righ?! It's an option, just a bit pricey!
@@KimandGarrettmakeit I wonder if the lower price for the shirts will make up for the higher price on the Siser?
Why not just buy sublimation pair for dark colors?
@@amberpedersen what is sublimation pair?
@@Mikebrunett1 I meant paper 🤦♀️
You guys crack me up! I love watching your videos!
SUPER. SIMPLE. Awesome video thank you so much! I’m buying sublimation kit for my wife for Christmas this was fantastic!
Great job... I do agree, oversize the sublimation helps to avoid lining up... although if any bleach spotted outside your design.. it might pick it up.
Good tip Cheryl
I love watching you two. You are funny and smart and such an inspiration.
Thank you for the kind words Michelle! 🥰
Kim, can you explain how you got your image to print larger than is allowed in design space or were you in the guideline? I really don't like this part of Cricut. Why do we have a 12"x12" mat or a 12"x24" if you can't design and cut on the full mat? Sheesh!
I bought Silhouette and you can just change the size in it. 😁
Another great video! LOVE the shirts you are wearing!
Thanks Kimber!
I love your channel, you two are adorable!
So fun to watch and picked up a few pointers! Thanks for the laughs and learning!
Thanks for watching! We appreciate the support!
Just found your channel! I ended up watching the whole video because you two are a crack up! Great job!
Have you tried a partial / peel-back liner technique, rather than having the whole piece exposed before placing down. May help with easier positioning. Interesting processes and both turned out well.
This works GREAT!!!
Man...u sneeze COOL! 😆... WHEN I SNEEZE....the whole neighborhood RUMBLES🤣🤣
I'm new to your channel and it is so helpful! I just got a sublimation printer in and I'm learning so much. I also love your nails! I see that Color Street! Now on to watch more of your videos. 😊
Interesting and fun ideas! I've never seen the bleach/sublimation technique before.
Don't EVEN come at me with 313! Lol
I always learn better when I'm laughing. Thanks y'all!
Fresh breathe of air.. loved this and the energy between you two
You're too sweet, thank you :O)
Y’all fun to watch
Love both of them! I also love that y'all eyeball everything ... I do the same!! That EasySubli is awesome but DAMN! That's expensive!! Thanks for the awesome video!
RIGHT?! Easy subli is great though
@@KimandGarrettmakeit oh have no fear, I bought the huge pack 😂😂😂
I like the bleach method, thanks for giving me another idea on how to do it with out bleaching the whole shirt.
AW Thank you so much!
I love watching u guys. Great team. He is so funny. Thanks for sharing.
Wow....the bleached t-shirt came out cool!
First time watching you guys. You are quite entertaining! Thanks for the laughs.
Our pleasure!
You guys are so much fun to watch ☺️🥰
Hi Kim and Garrett - Very interesting video. I always enjoy learning new techniques, so thank you. But I would do "Kim's Tech" if I ever got into sublimation. Kim's T-shirt turned out fabulous. Thanks for sharing and continued success. Love PegEgg
Thanks for the love Peg!!!
I love your videos!! You guys rock!
Thanks Jacki!
Awesome tutorial,I was wondering what T shirt you used I have never seen a black T turn white..LOL thank you
Both awesome techniques
"Mine... Doesn't seem as easy" 👀 lmao that was hilarious. It's when someone asks you something and you know the answer will be bad but try to segway if 🤣
I gave you guys a 👍 and subscribed because i just love the energy, fun and love between you both. Keep the atmosphere going like that. God bless your hustles. ❤️
AW Thank you so much!
Great video as always! So, I saw on another video where it showed that you couldn’t print directly onto the EasySub because the ink wouldn’t dry. Instead it was recommended to print onto sublimation paper first, heat transfer the image onto the EasySubli, and then onto the shirt. But you printed directly onto the EasySubli! So…what’s best?
Oooh okay, we should try that!
It would be nice to see the same design using the 2 different procedures to compare them that way.
a rgeat idea!
Love this tutorial. My question is how does this look after several washes? I will be getting my printer next week and I am new to sublimation. Thanks again for the tips and tricks!
It looks great! we wear them all the time STILL
They both look good!!
That side eye thooo at 7:15 😂😂😂
Loved this tutorial - it was sooo helpful!
Glad you liked it!!
Definitely want to try the bleach method (heard too many issues with vinyl).
The wild thing, this is the ONLY tutorial where someone uses a stencil and only bleach one area. Other tutorials just make a tie dye looking thing. If I manage to do ok, may I make a written tutorial if I include a link to your video?
Of course! I'm more than happy to have you include us :)
@@KimandGarrettmakeit Thank you 😊
Love you guys .. You're just a great team and funnnny😆. Love your awesome helpful vids.
Thank you so much!
You two are so funny and cute together in your videos.. Keep them coming.
Thanks Diana!
You both are awesome I enjoyed watching the video and you both! I just learned so effortlessly with your guidance
Thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it!
Y'all--with the centering; LOL! You sound just like me & my mom! Thanks for this tutorial!
You are so welcome!
I love the video. Any information on where to purchase the shirts.
I just found you two but I love you already. 😄
Aw welcome!
Hey yall, i love them both but Kims is much easier lol... Great video have a great day!
I think you two are going to make me spend a lot of money! 🤣🤣🤣
hahaha happy to help
I have NO experience with sublimation, so I'm sorry for how ignorant this question may sound; for the second method... How is that any different from opaque transfer paper? It looks thick and crunchy just the same way?
Lmao!!! Just stumbled across this video ..
You 2 cracked me up laughing .. love it !!!
Quick question were both tshirts cotton?
Yes I subscribed and probably watch your videos all night .. top job guys 👍
AWWWW Thanks so much patricia!
Easy subli for the win!
FTW~!
You guys are awesome and love your style!
Aw! Thanks Donna!
great video, awesome info
Glad it helped!!
I love your content! Thank you for posting all of these helpful videos! I have a question. Is this really sublimation? The reason why I am asking this is because I worked at a vinyl printing and screen printing shop and both those print methods sit on top of the material which I would like to avoid because they don't wash well. When I see your final product, I can see it has a glossiness to it and I don't know if it is because the ink is on top of it or if this is just the look that it gives as the end result? Thanks!
Morning guys! More sublimation!!
I’m going to try this bleach technique but on a stubby holder and don’t care if it bleeds, just for the effect I won’t use peroxide :) hope it works. Thanks for the i soo I enjoyed watching this video
And Easy subli, I can finally understand!!! May I ask what size is the easy press mat? That’s a really nice size
We have the Cricut 20 x 16" mat.
So, does the siser sit on top of the shirt, or does it fuse into the shirt like regular sublimation?? Love both of them.. anxious to try these techniques 😁 Thanks for sharing 🥰
Great question! It sits on top like vinyl, but feels a litte more pliable than vinyl.
@@KimandGarrettmakeit that’s because that is not sublimation it’s printed Vinyl!
I know this is old but you ever use the mask from the easysubli? I just saw you print and place the HTV portion.
Hello you guys are so funny I’m new to your channel I enjoy watching you guys thanks for your video
Yay! Thanks for watching
Can you all do more videos on using the dry erase boards. Thanks
Thanks for the suggestion Keta! We'll definitely do that!
I just love you guys.
Aw thanks julie!
Your husband is a nut, a funny nut. Thank you for showing us how to do this. Love it.
Thanks for watching!
i feel that 311 xD i use 203 °C for my mug just cuz that's what worked for me... 😆
Thanks for showing
He spoke my exact thoughts regarding the 311° temp 🤣
Bless you.
When the area started to turn brown on the 1st T-shirt. What were you using to wipe away the brown?
How do the shirts look after washing using the Easy Subi?
@Tracey Washington I'm trying to find the best materials to be able to do dark colored shirts. My biggest concern is fading or peeling up.
The freezer paper cut out and then ironed on might be a little easier than the vinyl!
Did you need to peel the sublimation paper before pressing on to the bleach section? Or after cutting the sublimation paper on the cricut was it good to go?
Too funny! 🎵🎶 You've got to cool it down! 🎶 🎵
Awesome video thank you so much! Quick question, how did she get cricut to do print and cut so big? Cricut has a size limit that’s so small. Hanks!
We cut it in two pieces and ironed them on seperately
Nice job... and good entertainment 👌
Glad you liked it
What kind of shirt you bleach?
Is it cotton the sublimated it? Sorry if I missed that on the video..
Great video thank you for doing this video👍❤😊
Great question, for bleaching & sublimating you want close to a 50/50 cotton/polyester blend. Full polyester will not bleach.
@@KimandGarrettmakeit thank you😊
@@KimandGarrettmakeit would love to know how it holds up to washing since 65/35 is typically recommended for sublimation.
Very good video thanks 😊
Thank you!
Easy subli will not go through my epson ecotank 4700, what am I doing wrong
Just subbed,
Binge Watch: Activated
Can you please let us know how long these techniques lasted. Have you run them through the wash at least 20 times and as the colour held? Thanks...
Hey great video, I am wondering about the easy subli shirt though. It almost sounded like vinyl when you rubbed your hand on it? Can you feel the design?
your shirt looks GR8 but more effort than I want to put out.
So I don't have to use sub shirts? New at this ,love.yall
311 funny thank you so much truly inspired
lol thanks!
How long did it take to get the bleach that white? (Garrett’s stencil) Now that you’ve done both, which is your preferred method?
Not long!
Did you have any issues running the Easy Subli thru the Epson printer? I have seen others say it won't go thru the printer.
Same I would like to know before I spend the money to but it lol
My easysubli always creates a “paper jam” and will never print. Any advice? When i use asub paper i don’t have an issue with a paper jam. Any advice?
Yes please help my paper keeps getting Jam. Please help
I have not tried on dark fabrics yet. I want to do a project on a red t-shirt for my son's job. This looks pretty easy. Thank you for the tutorial. He looks like he could work at a pizza place lol.
Was the first shirt also 100% cotton?
Hello, loved watching this video. I have a question when printing do you suggest to mirror the image?
Yes you can!
Great video but how did you get your sized design? I can't bypass Cricut's restricted size for print/cuts.
Do you have to wash the garment prior to selling? Or is when you apply the peroxide to stop the bleaching does it take care of it?
We washed them on quick cycle cold water, before we started wearing them.
How is your Epson holding up i heard that it’s not recommended to print on easysubli directly from the Epson. Something about streaks and ink getting on the wheels. Are you having issues with that.
I have a few questions! For the one Garrett did do u use jus a cheap vinyl for stencil?
For Kim’s does the image feel like vinyl and peel eventually like vinyl? Or does it feel like sublimation?
I have a job I have to do for a new business in town and they picked black for their clothing color and I am nervous on which technique is best.
Also can u do both these techniques with shirts of any material?
How long did you have to wait for your ink to dry?
I have tried a few times to bleach a black shirt and it won’t come out at all, or it turns grey. I’m not sure what to do to help it turn white. Any tips?
Hi I see you’re using an epson printer, I have one myself, what printer settings do you use? Please let me know.
We have everything in the video needed to convert!
Only thing is Kim's shirt has a vinyl feel which makes it thicker and hotter.
Yep, good point. Definitely true.
