Finally they add DLSS support even though is not as much performance improvement as I was expected going to be. The GPU utilization is around 70-80 maybe the game would run 50fps+ if they manage to optimize the game to utilize all of the GPU hardware. But yeah still not buying this game yet...
I wouldn't go as far as saying that I wouldn't recommend the game to . I easily had 100+ hours of fun in it and that was when it first launched. It is in a much better state now and has mods. There is room for improvement for sure, but I wouldn't discount it completely. There are about a million other games to play while you wait for this one to get better that is true.
Game is in a dog shit state and has been since launch stop trying to defend it, it has a long way to go before its in a state that can be recommended, there's a reason the games sitting at 26% mostly negative on Steam.
@@singed420snowinit9 Yeah I'd give it a negative review as well, but I still have a lot of time in it. And have had lots of fun as well. I can still recommend it, especially on gamepass if you have it, since with mods and recent updates it's decent. Depends on what you're looking for in the game ofc.
@@singed420snowinit9 CS 1 was laggy too in a huge city like this, stop bitching about fps in a simulation game ffs. 💀 Unity is the biggest problem here and the game itself is very CPU heavy now. Who cares about 30fps if it's playable and enjoyable...
@@7igs24 still a long way to go. Remember that this graphic setting is low and only getting 30 fps on 3060 is still not acceptable performance even in 1440p. They could have reach to 60fps medium setting if they really take care optimizing the game especially on LODs.
@@7igs24 And also a lot of AAAs game does this to looks as they showing how 'advanced' the graphics are in the game even though is just an excuse to not optimize the game properly. You can’t have an old version that’s better than the new version of a game. They need to stop patch patch and fix the damn game. I spent $50. I bought a new computer and still can play the damn game.
This reminds me of the good old days when I played the first Cities Skylines on a 3rd gen i3, Nvidia gt630 & 8GBs of ram. Sub 30fps average, stutters to 11fps all the time. CS2 is wasted potential.
Thank you for this very informative Video, helped me a lot about the Decision if i should give the Game another Try trough the GamePass after this Patch with DLSS, because i have a RTX3060 too. 👍
Yeah, they're never fixing this game. It's coded this way. What a waste. It's giving 30 fps and it's not maxing your gpu, or cpu, just because it's using 1 cpu core and maxing that core out, the whole game's performance is halted. What a fucking waste of a good gaming opportunity.
RTX 3060 12GB and a R5 3600X is outdated. With this setup you should not have buy this game if you want to hit more than 30 FPS... Even in CS1 you will have problems with this setup
Unplayable?? A simulation game is not about fps, when zooming in to street level and literally being just under 30 fps is fine, it is totally playable and an okey experience.
Low FPS means bad responsiveness. It's not only visual, you can easily feel the delay of cursor movement or user commands. It makes me sick really, i can't play games lower than 60fps anymore, i am used to 100+fps and i can easily feel the cursor delay if fps drops, i don't even need a osd fps meter, i can feel it.
Disclaimer: I made a typo, in the performance comparison, the DLSS benchmark run was obviously using Patch 1.1.2 instead of 1.1.1.

My reasoning is that as long as I can't hit a stable 30 fps, (on the lowest settings), I won't in good conscience recommend it.
@@ZykopathOfficialso what's currently stopping it? Are you running in a very high resolution or is the benchmark test in a massive city?

Feels like DLSS does more of the performance improvements than anything under the hood.
With this patch, yes, still waiting for actual optimization.
@@ZykopathOfficial optimi-what? is it eatable ?
Thanks for vid! Was looking for a performance comparison 👍
My pleasure, enjoy the game!
I think devs not gonna optimize the game. They are gonna wait for couple more generations of hardware. And thats it
what do you mean? the game is so much more optimised now

Great little comparison. Looks like it's drastically removed some of the edge shimmering running in quality mode. Finally a good win

00:59 Are the graphics on medium?
Lowest, except for anti-aliasing / DLSS

Yup!

do you play on 1440p?
Yup!

I totally Agree! 👌
Maybe we should call it unrelaxing, because seeing our city with smooth framerate is relaxing
