I was sold the moment I learned Firefly was becoming a playable character. Hearing she's Fire Destruction, just gives me more reason to pull her. My Himeko isn't pulling the weight of DPS for me, so, Firefly might replace her as my Fire DPS. I have Hook also, but I find that kid annoying, so, I don't use them. I'm not even a kid hater, Hook just annoys me. Back on the main point, I've been skipping 2.2.'s gatchas because I want to save up for Firefly, and also to preserve my 50/50 loss's effect from Acheron's banner from a previous patch, so that it's impossible for me to lose my 50/50 on Firefly's banner. I'll try to go for her E1 at least probably. Something I never go for with limited 5 stars. It was painful to skip Robin for me, but I had to, I need to eliminate as much negative rng in the way of getting Firefly. Skipping Boothill too

I didn't consider firefly before, but seeing her animations and kit, I just HAVE TO. But ruan mei goes first. Thankfully, hsr is generous enough, so if I win 2 50/50's I hopefully can get them both

I had my mind set on Jade as soon as I saw her spash art anouncement. That hat did it for me, I skipped Boothil for her, I hope to pull the shark-toothed shooter on re-run.
Since I love playing with Herta and Himeko already, Jade will fit in the team beautifully.
Considering I have Gallagher, Ruan Mei and Harmony MC all built, I'm definitely gonna be getting Firefly.

Firefly and Ruan Mei banner is insane, it feels like they're pressuring you to pull because of how good the 4 star characters and LC are (I still don't have MotP since day1). Regardless, Jade is still my pull priority because I love her character and I know she's future-proof, also I already have Boothill so I don't need another Break DPS.
Edit: Well, this age like milk lmao. As of right now I already pulled Firefly and won 50/50.
Maybe I'll have enough pulls for Jade, I'll try.

im a day one player but i did take many months long breaks from the game (mostly cause of some school stuff) and what do you know? ruan mei came out during one of those breaks! well rn i have gotten boothill so i need to know, do i pull for ruan mei or do i get firefly. OR do i just skip them both and go for argenti or jade?
@@stayheatgood choice buddy. Supports age better than dps. They are sort of priority. I'm stacked on 5 star supports and sustains and using free ratio and Clara as hypercarry. And still managed MoC 11. Can't do 12 because my relic still succs 😂. I have another account with DPS pulls only and it hurts really much to play. Is not comfortable at all. Not to mention I have their signature LC as well. Premium supports are >>>> better, imo.
energy regen from allies are useless for Firefly because she has 240 energy cost

I think firefly's ultimate get locked at max till it ends. So if your plan was to use Huohuo or Tingyun to gain energy while the ultimate is active, I don't think it'll work.
no it doesnt, she can still gain energy while on her ult form, look at 1:49 no glowing in the outer ring meaning no energy, look at 2:17 glowing outer ring, she can't still gain energy from her enhanced basic and enhanced skill only tru other instances like moc buff, enemy mechanics, Tingyun and Huohuo. but the problem with Tingyun it only gives 50 energy, Firefly energy cost is 240. while Huohuo only gives 20% which she also doesnt need because her skill while in normal form gives 65% energy.

Edit: Still going for Jade though. Cause the potential damage there is absurd. Let us assume you have 50%-200% CRIT ratio. She gives herself 120% CRIT DMG. Meaning it is now 320%. Sparkle buff of lets say 100% it is now 420%. Then Robin buff on top of that making all attacks have 440% and FUAs specifically 465%. I don't think a single character can come close to this instance of damage.

@@The_JragonWell EoS1 Jade with the new Relic set, crit rate chest and her LC is already at 60% crit rate. I'm going for 134 speed, 70% crit (which at that point is just have rate and no rolls into them lol) and as much attack and crit damage. If I can hit 3k attack and 120% crit damage is my main goal. The new Planer set is also 24% more crit damage.
Then if E1S1 she can do the new single boss endgame too.
@@billdecou242 I know right, not to mention the LC has a built in def ignore up to a potential 40%. Cause I think it can stack from the ultimate and FUA. Hence I dubbed it her pocket Pela.

Hello! I have Himeko and I want to pull for Firefly because I'm searching for a DPS fire, but now I've been hesitating if I should pull for her. I only have 70 golden tickets (F2P pain D:). Can someone please give advice if I should pull for Firefly if I have Himeko or not? Thank you! :) I still watched the entire video, but it didn't help me to clear my doubts, though it doesn't mean it didn't helped me.
I'm going to summon for jade at least she is more unique. If people saw leaks and etc we are getting more break / super break units there's no need to go for a super break dps that fast if it's so easy to get a powercreep in that area.

Rule out the 50/50 thingy, should go e1 ruan mei or or firefly Light cone?, i will use my guarantee for e0 firefly, i already saw her Light cone leak, and if i can say it's not really that huge game changing for her.
Thankfully, Lightcone banner does not have a 50/50, it has a 75/25. Probably because you're pulling for equipment rather than a full character.

Got a question: I would like to pull for Firefly Eliorons, however, I personally don't like Ruan Mei, but for Firefly would it be better to get her Eliorons or taking Ruan Mei?
Ruan Mei just cause she works with literally every Dps.
And on the SB team the difference between using her or not is a Night and Day difference and a 60%+ damage falloff.

I don't think jade suits well with blade. Her hp decrease mechanic comes after the ally attacks. Blade loses hp when he attacks most of the time anyways so i don't think jade will help blade gets more stacks. Speed build Jingliu is still way better to buff up blade stack gains.
Also jade skill gives attack buff right? In which blade damage mostly scales from his hp

I would skip and wait for Jiaoqiu banner, he's a good support for Acheron and would provide more value to your account.
If you need a DPS in 2.4 there will be another destruction unit, Yunli. You can wait her beta gameplay and see if she's more forgiving with teams.

Well the problem is FF and BH both want RM and Gallagher they are the BIS for both teams so if you get FF welp one of the 2 will get a half ass team.
So if had to pick anything from this update I'd get the RM Lc if ya didn't have it and or just skip I know how busted E1 RM is I have her but ill be frank the leaks say there's heavy hitters coming like the Firefox guy so I'd skip unless you really want FF.
Get firefly, E0 -> E1 is rarely more than a 5-10% increase. While having a fire main dps will make it easier to tackle fire weak content.

I got Boothill and now I have hope to get Firefly. I’d have the perfect break team if I did, since I also have Ruan Mei. I’d be able to have a team of characters I enjoy playing that are also good for break effect! Yay!!! (There’s literally no way I’ll get my pity high enough for firefly and win my 50/50, but I have hope that I’ll get good luck for once in this game!)

I'll laugh or get excited if I pull double Firefly on my first 10 pull of 2.3. Either way, if that happens, I'll have more resources left to go for her Lightcone, something I never do. Pulling from Lightcone banner I mean. I've been with Star Rail since it's launch, and never pulled from Lightcone banner. As such, my odds are not great to get her Lightcone, as the pity has never changed for me for that type of banner since all the way in version 1.0

If you have sparkle + Robin go Firefly.
Other wise I'd go RM having two limited harmony chars is so giga. But wait for the firefly calcs to come out incase she is actually omega busted.

if you aiming for meta it prob best to wait but if you want pull is ok
It's not about gameplay strenght tho, it's about lore strenght. Leakers can not possibly predict gameplay strenght because for a lot of characters leakers hve no idea about kits or multiliers, and a lot of char's kits are veeeeery eraly in development, so there is just no possible way to predict gamelay strength. And also we already have Firefly who does comparable damage to Acheron and quite often surpassing her and getting faster clears, so yeah
I skipped Acheron for my king Goathill I ain’t pulling on any of these banners

Jade is basically a dominatrix, so if you're into BDSM, get her. If you're into cute girls and mecha, get Firefly. If you're into a different brand of BDSM (getting drugged) then get Ruan Mei.
I'm one of those crazy mf who'll skip Firefly for Jade, I suppose. (Also already have Ruan Mei).
And for some reason, I'm struggling with Pure Fiction. I can have any hypercarry clear MoC anytime. But not every hypercarry can score well in PF.

Some very small (leaked) details about firefly:
Her ult costs 240 energy, and her skill regenerates 50% from level 1-9 and 60% at level 10.
She can't use ult again during the enhanced state (even if she has the energy to)
Based on the amount of energy she regenerates and the insanely expensive ult, even allies and LCs that can restore energy won't be enough for that, so you just should run a break focused team and LCs. Just like how you use boothill (harmony mc, ruan mei, gallagher or any other sustain)
Also, you never should use her enhanced basic. Even in single target situations. She is a SP hungry dps because she also takes a lot of turns in her enhanced state because she gets bonus SPD. But her E1 makes it so her enhanced skill won't consume SP
I often see vids of ppl playing her with HMC and they use HMC's skill and ult eventho they already have back stage dance up and lack skill points. Is there something I'm missing (I understand using DDD tho)
@@pizzamozzerrella8567see the thing is the leakers are mostly using ruan meis lc on hmc and that regenerates an extra sp ( that's the most reasonable answer ig because in every showcase like that they regenerates an extra sp )
Also don't forget in base form her normal Skill has AF built in so if you're FF is built fast you'll literally get your ult back almost instantly...
Reason to pull:
Firefly : I own her money (Spend money during main story quest),
Jade : Wanting to be a stepping stool (Literally),
Ruan Mei : Big PP break damage support (or just mommy in general),
Argenti : Skip.
As someone who accidentally got him while trying to get a 4 star. I think he sucks even when I use him in PF cuz I don't have a e6 tingyun and not a houhiu either
I kinda hate Argenti. How he acted in his companion mission annoyed me. That being said, in the Penacony story, I got past him without a fight. I used diplomacy to avoid that battle
