In this new series of Brilliant Solutions we show you the best way to maximise results using the right products and processes on a brand new car saving you time and effort.
Today's episode features this BMW 330E which was yet to have it's first wash! Using our consumer range products we turn this rather dirty hybrid into a spanking new one!
Products used in this video:
Heavy Duty Multi Purpose Cleaner:
To degrease lower sections, inner arches and heavily contaminated parts.
Ultimate All Wheel Cleaner:
Applying to a dry wheel to clean the commuter road grime and brake dust off the wheels.
Ultimate Snow Foam Cannon Kit:
To pre wash the car loosening all dirt and grime covering the car to ensure safe washing.
Two bucket Method and Ultimate Wash and Wax:
Using two buckets and a grit guard to safely wash the car whilst leaving a layer of wax from the Ultimate Wash and Wax.
Hybrid Ceramic Wax:
To protect the car over the winter months we use our latest and greatest Hybrid Ceramic Wax. Simply spray on, rinse off.

Great video, been without a car for too long and hopefully this will change soon. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed cleaning cars.
I always use the Meguiars wash and wax for the body work, Sonax for the wheels etc, and Meguiars Ultimate Quik Wax to finish it off. Liquid wax is so easy to use. :) Okay, it's not the best wax out there, but my car is in a garage for most of the times. The wax holds pretty well I must say. 👌

Nice job on the 330e. I would be nice to mention that the + and - on the snow foam cannon are totally opposite to what you think. The thicker you want the foam more turn to - (minus) on the cannon. People return snow cannons because they can’t get that thick layer seen on RUclips. Great video.

Only wash an wax I use! Just got done waxing with NXT this evening
I been using this since 2014 on my e92. Love the product i do the stage 1 2 3 wax and some of there other wax. May take time doing but. Worth it in the end makes the car look brand spanking new.
My husband’s routine to save time and money without sacrificing protection, skip the all purpose step. Use their least expensive shampoo after the foam wash. It’s the pink one and is popular. Then dry your car with rainmax, fastwax which is great on windows!

My car will be 4 years old next month. 66.000 miles . Still literally looks like new, in and out. Only Maguire's products used.
Love how people are complaining about the price. If you have a decent car and you want to keep it nice then washing it yourself properly is a great investment. I wouldn’t trust my cars with a car wash

Washing your car dont need to be expensive. But if you want it to look even better for a longer period of time it will become more expensive.

Will the yellow ultimate wash and wax interfere with the hybrid ceramic wax at all? For.example make the ceramic spray harder to stick to surface? Or maybe wear the ceramic off after subsequent washes?

How can it be a super rich snow foam when 95% of other good snow foams are designed to work at 10:1?
A good pressure with a low psi rating between 900-1400 and gpm's above 1.6 along with a decent quality foam cannon will easily create rich thick foam. If you use a cheap pressure washer along with a cheap foam cannon you will never get that nice shaving cream like foam.
@All Seeing EYE only if you don't have a high rated pressure washer. A gas pressure washer's water pump will implode trying to push a large volume of water through such a small hole.
No you misunderstood. Super rich he means strong or economical, which it isnt. 95% of other snow foams work better at 1:10. That was my point

@@edubb2491Cheap electrics tend to favor psi over gpm. More expensive electrics like Kranzle favor gpm's over psi. When washing cars you don't want more than 1500psi and as high gpm possible especially if you want great results with a foam cannon.
It is advisable to start brushing out intricate areas with the snow foam clinging as dirt buildup there is quite heavy and thus contamination of the mitt is reduced when contact washing.
Yes. Using a good quality brush to wash little areas you can't get to with the mitt is a good practice.

Don't spray directly onto car. Buy a Microfiber sponge spray Ceramic Hybird wax on to sponge. Go side to side over each panel. Windows and rims. Let dry 5 minutes. Then hit all panels with water. For 5 minutes. Then dry with a Microfiber towel. Your done. Been using this product since 2019. Its now 2020 May! My customers love the long lasting shine. Its $15.00 at Wal-Mart. The sponge $1.97. Wouldn’t it be better to use a non wax soap so the hybrid ceramic solution has a better chance to stick to the finish?
I wish it would have shown or went over how many of those towels you need to dry off the car, does that 1 towel really dry off the car or did he need 2? Is it better then a chamois?
Just a quick tip: When using spray wax, once applied around the whole car, quickly mist the cars with the jet wash and then dry, this saves you from doing two passes. Thank me later😊
Wrong. With this specific product, if it’s the first time you’re using it, and you don’t have a wax on the car already, you’ll neeed to create a foundational layer. You must do the standard application method of “wax as you dry.” And then from then on you can spray on and rinse off the second time , and every other time using

Also hybrid ceramic wax performs poorly if used in excess because the carrier ingredients are actually highly hydrophilic (water attracting). It really is hard to wash away all the extra waste carrier ingredients. So do yourself a favour and spray only twice every panel, maybe three on the hood or four on the roof.

Wash big dirt off the windows too! Then use a glass cleaner to remove streaks!
Always wash from top of car to bottom (top of car is less dirty than bottom and this will reduce chances of damaging paint with contaminants)

Not all people have a factory full of product at there disposal 🤪.... if we was to use what you just did to wash this bmw it probably would of cost us about £200 lol

What is your opinion on using a silicone wiper blade to remove most of the water first rather than saturating your drying cloth?

The towel used for drying the car when first applying the ceramic wax can be used again during the second drying? I have the exact same drying towel and I'm planning to apply ceramic wax tomorrow.
Xrhstos J. Delavega it will be saturated after first drying and a bit waxy so will need to be washed and dried, you could do with a second one I’d say.

Xrhstos J. Delavega yeah I usually just do a quick wash with similar towels so you don’t go contaminating them all or getting lint on them, no detergent as it will make it streaky or not as absorbent and tumble on low heat or naturally dry in the summer 👍🏻
Yes you absolutely can. Just keep the towel nice and folded so you have clean and dry sections for the second dry.
You'll find drying once using these sort of ceramic sprays, or spray waxes. The product will enfuse into the fibres making the repell the water instead of collecting. To wash them, either grab some purpose made microfibre detergent, available from a few brands, on get non bio detergent. Always use liquid and not powder and never put in any comfort. I soak mine in a bit of white vinegar 50/50 with water for an hour to so prior washing. Wash at about 30degrees. If you have a tumble dryer use that on the lowest heat then leave to air out. If not, use the spin/drain cycle on your machine to get rid of as much water as possible, then leave to air dry. Hope that helps.
Also, never wash your towels with anything else, like your normal clothes, towels etc.

This kind of washing only can be done by a car wash detailed shop. Imagine doing this weekly, per session require at least 2-3 hours!
WHY DO YOU NEVER CLEAN THE WHEELS THROUGHLY. Think how much grime will accumulate in the barrel and brake dust will easily get caked on without making contact.

Spray wheels and power wash off ....really! Bit worrying when giving that info. Wheel cleaners only loosen some grime, wheels are heavily contaminated and filthy they need physical scrubbing every wash to keep clean 🤔

Good video and I do almost the same but I treat each application of the ceramic wax as fresh base coat because I feel it will get better coverage. Meguiar’s am I tight in doing so?
When you apply the ceramic wax, can you use the same towel for both base layer and secondary layer or do you use new towels for each rinse?

Hi, If I use heavy-duty cleaner before prewash I will move my wax from the car so I need to wax it again? And if I use only jet rinse and prewash i think it would be enough to remove road dirt and grime. Please comment, Thanks

I have used a different brand wax the last time I washed my car, the next time I will be using Meguiars hybrid ceramic wax, do I still need to dry after applying the first layer? Also is it possible to over wax your car?

I like to use the goldclass, can I use this quik ceramic wax to finish washes to maintain my carnauba look under this ceramic quik wax? or is better I use the gold class quik wax? I like this one because it's easy to use.
The first layer of ceramic wax, the base, is applied on wet paint then dried with a towel. Could I use a blower instead? As I would at the very end.

Frank Bouma this is not a ceramic coating. It is a wax with ceramic technology. I have this wax and it does nothing to the towel

@@edgarreyes6480 - yeah that's why I asked their foam looked nice and thick. i had a power washer and foam set up before and i couldn't get thick foam I don't know what i did wrong. Maybe the dilution was off.
