Learn everything from A-Z when starting the business then hire is 100% right. That way when you hire eg fb ads agency, you know they are doing it right, not just doing it.
Have been following their journey from the very start after I stumbled upon one of their ads on my Instagram feed. I’m now launching my first business this year, and I always look up to these guys for inspiration and motivation. Thanks for sharing!
This is an amazing video. I'm a beauty brand founder and I understand exactly what they're talking about, and appreciate the honest so much, about all their mistakes or regrets. I get it, beauty brands have special and unique hardships of their own. Love this podcast!
These guys are better than 99% of the fake influencers and course sellers online. The things they shared are lessons I learned only after 6-7 months of running my own e-commerce business. The others just tell you outdated stuff that doesn’t work, leaving you running back to them to buy their course. These guys, however, dropped real gems.
I am just over halfway into the video. I'm in the beginnong of starting my own business and I am running into the experience of having or might having to do filling bottles by myself, and fulfilling by myself. I do not know why but I just felt like doing things myself means a bad job automatically. But seeing these guys being where they are today showed me that in the beginning, doing some of the process by yourself is okay and you can scale just as well. (I am starting a body wash brand with very limited budget lol). Anyways this is an amazing video and I feel extremely inspired. For real 💖
Outstanding PODCAST , KUDOS to the founders WHO IS ELIJHA and thanks to Foundr for making such an amazing content. Life is too short to make mistakes so learn from others
This was amazing and very interesting. It is puzzling however, that they don't seem to talk about how their perfumes are pretty much all dupes of other best selling niche perfumes. They don't advertise being dupes and they are much more expensive than dupe brands, but that is what they are.
I've smelt the entire line. One of them smells good and the rest smell like toilet cleaner. If your frangrace is that good, it would speak for itself. They also dont allow any negative feedback. Im blocked from their instagram page for saying they smell like toilet cleaner lol 😂
Smell is completely subjective. Many think Sauvage is the best smelling perfume while others hate it so the opinion of just a single person is not worth much.
It's difficult to build a perfume brand. There's much more to it than just creating packaging. There's a lot to think about as far as creating the perfumes and all the chemical structures and ingredients (you have to know your stuff), being able to ship them, the complexity of shipping regulations for perfumes and on and on.
A really good wholesaler is 12 Weston London, their MOQ is low and the fragrances are unique and last forever on the clothes. They’ve also been featured in Vogue, vanity fair, Tatler and glamour magazines
@@crishnaholmes7730 their perfumes are not originals but rather dupes of other best selling perfumes. I.e His/Her is a dupe of Le Labo Santal 33 and Haze is a dupe of replica's By the Fireplace etc etc Most dupe houses are cheaper and admit to be being dupe houses.
So true their first scent stolen from an old Indian man who has probably been trying to sell the fragrance for 30 years for $5 an oil bottle. Then pretty W privilege walks in and immediately gets a deal to sell the perfume in a major dept store in 5 days..... ridiculous. i know how that poor Indian guy must feel I have been robbed of my ideas for years and have not made any money off of them no matter how many doors I knock on, phone calls I make, emails I send, or conferences I attend. This world sucks...... next please.

This is so awesome. Good luck with the launch!
This is so refreshing to have such honesty from founders! My favourite episode yet! Go Aussie brands

I would love to know what made their brand deck so good.
Same!!!

Exactly! Learn from those with experience. It's a mentorship hack.
Loved the bit on agencies. Great take.
Thanks a ton!
I learned a lot! Especially from Adam. He is a natural entrepreneur and an inspiring person.
Yes. She is very lucky to have him helping her. It seems like he is the brains and does the hard work.
This is so good to know!

they are both soooo cute!! love this inspiring story too
Thanks for watching. They really are a great example for founders! ❤️
Great insights in this video! Love the rawness of it all. I took away so many gems from this thank you for sharing ❤

What's the name of their perfume brand?

Agree, you have to know your stuff when running a business. Get your hands in there.
Entrepreneurship is difficult that’s why everyone can’t do it
Really interesting interview
Glad you found it interesting!
Don't mind the haters. Great content. Thank you for this.
We appreciate that! Thank you!
They didnt talk about how they find who to manufacture the product? Did they hire marketing company?

Holy crap, this is awesome
Just love how honest you are in this interview! Just followed you on insta and loove
One hundred percent 👌🏻
Thanks for subbing! 🙌
Did I miss the part where he talks about why the influencer marketing is not something they would still do?
"Life happens for you not to you"
Exactly right 💯✨
can anyone tell me how create price for fragrances in your internet store? and where i can buy wholesale?
A really good wholesaler is 12 Weston London, their MOQ is low and the fragrances are unique and last forever on the clothes. They’ve also been featured in Vogue, vanity fair, Tatler and glamour magazines
Do you think it is possible to buy directly from the manufacturers?
Why did you not just take a flight to Nice [France] and go to Grasse to find your perfumer if you re not composing them yourself?
because its all dupes
@@champsonppwhat do you mean
Meaning they're duplicating already existing fragrances and are selling them at a fraction of the price. @@crishnaholmes7730

Inspiring couple. I really ejoyed their transparency :)
Ridiculous world we live in
I'm curious to know why you said this?🤥
Yea, anyone can replicate this..oh yea, you need hot model to work for free..yea, I get right on that..😂

They’re a likeable couple!
También he querido hacer mi propia marca de perfumes pero no encuentro a un buen perfumista que quiera colaborar conmigo
But GHD never sold to the public she might not be the best person for the job
They make copy cats of already established perfumes! Very creative💀
