I like the smaller size of this unit. This is something that I could stash in the center console, trunk, or glove box and not worry about it. And the indicator light tells you when to recharge it, no guessing. Its also good to know when you have the jaws attached to the correct poles. We all worry about that.
If you have it sitting in your trunk turned off, I think it should stay fully charged! Extreme cold weather might drain it though. I'd check every 6 months or so just to be safe! ~B
