I bought this ages ago and it's still going strong, it's never let me down once. I used it last year and never charged it and the charge was still at 99%. I jump started my car the other day and it went to 98%. It holds a charge very well and is very reliable. I highly recommend this product. I want to buy another one for a family member but am having trouble finding another one in the UK.

I purchased this item in 2019 as i travel 50 miles a day to and from work and needed a bit of peace of mind in the early hours after 2 months i had to use it on my daughters small kia as she had a flat battery one morning ,easy to use but read the instructions step by step for safety ,i was optimistic at 1st but after connecting she turned the key and it started instantly on a 98% charge indicator ,very impressed ...1 year on i have since used it again on my brothers 2000l diesel car which has stood for 8 months ,at 1st it tried to slowly turn over t then tried again ..same thing so i disconnected the clamps waited 5 mins then re-tried on the 2nd attempt it started the car and this is after he tried jump leads 2 days earlier ...very impressed with it the power indicator then read 84% not bad and now he is purchasing one as well as his neighbour who watched my using it ...best thing i bought for years
I used mine to start a car that didn't have a battery in it at all. It worked great. I started the car 5 times and still had 98% battery. Probably couldn't do that with a full size V8 pickup but the little 4 cylinder car it did great. Even if you can only start your car 3-4 times on a charge if it gets you home its a lifesaver for sure. Not many people around to stop and help or give you a jump anymore so having your own power pack to get yourself going is an absolute must. Mine has been sitting in my car for 7 months, it still shows 98% on the battery meter.

I have this and this video is the best review. You actually took your car to dead state on purpose to show it ability. PERECT review here. Now one thing, if it goes on standby mode, you don't have to flick the switch, just tap the power button and it'll pop back on. Awesome video man thanks for this because I'm getting one for a product shoot and own one as well, Have a better understanding of it especially the boost function how it auto-detects.
I have this product and I also love it. I started my 4Runner about 15-20 times and it only dropped from full charge to 83%. This charger is a beast.

Rick .... FINE Job, Thanks. Clear, Concise & Succinct. AND solid scrpt and excellent lighting. I spent almost 2 hours researching Lion Jump Starters. I was about to order the Genius GB30 or 40 , but was going crazy shifting thru the "Marketing Hype", specs, availability (lack of) , delivery, etc. As a business consultant and a "sorta heavy" DIYer ... just now internalizing that our lesser vehicle use and shorter trips ... is killing our Batteries which are dying all over the place. PLUS, diminished build quality of current batteries now suspect. (We need a "WhistleBlower" re: "Less Lead" ... fewer plates, etc. ????? A few mornngs ago, I had 3 dead batteries ... ALL less than 2 years old ...1 in each SUV and even the one in my $160 Dewalt (Lead Acid) Jump Starter from Home Depot. Immediately bought 2 "Trickle Chargers" & just placed an order for the T8 Pro.

Well we'll see man I just bought one of those because of your review I've got a 2010 Mercedes Benz C300... power unit received it just five minutes ago at 84% power charging now... I'll come back and edit this post as soon as I have some results... I'm not very confident.... this thing's tiny... it's not a super-capacitor... I can always exchange it...stand by! stay tuned! OK I Let it charge up 100% take about 20 minutes... battery on my car was dead because I had a real bad alternator a while back so battery holds a charge... but if you just leave the lights on for like 5 minutes it'll be all the way down... so I definitely need a new battery.... but again I have a V6 Mercedes Benz C300 Crank it on the first try... Car started first time! immediately! as if it had a brand new battery in it... couldn't believe it... Works great!

Someone at work stole my noco genius boost portable jump starter. I really liked the green button to give the battery juice if its completely dead. I am considering buying the tacklite jump starter. It looks like it is very light too. Thanks for the review. The noco genius cost me $118. If this model is cheaper i am definitely gonna try it.
I just purchased this jump starter, and it is defective. After hours of charging, it shows still shows lo. I have sent emails and called the customer service number, but no answer. I will be returning this junk, if I can ever get them to respond.

This has been working just ok for me. I was able to jump my 6.4l truck when I left lights on too long and it was just a little down. When we had a cold snap and it really killed the battery, it wasn't enough to get the truck started. I has worked great on cars I've helped in parking lots though.

I own one of this device. The battery has not been charged for a very long time. Therefore, the lithium polymer battery does not charge. The factory said it could not supply batteries. Where can I find a battery for this device?
Mine will only produce voltage when I press the boost button
I got one of these but I lost my wall charger. I looked TackLife's site, but they don't have these sold separately. Any idea of what wall charger will work with this unit? Thanks.

That's the one downside I see to this unit. I wish it had usb in charger. Oh well still bought it and got a great lighting deal.

Every time I try to charge my headphones. It'll charge for like 2 minutes then the screen cuts off and stops charging.

No, it's only a jump starter. You will need to drive the vehicle to recharge the battery.
Wellllll...it had struggled a bit with turning the engine over ( slow ) so I wouldn't trust it for a few tries.
Once your car battery dies it won’t be the same. Yrs to come the case will start to bulge.😮
negative terminal should be the first on, and last off..
I tried to use mine for the first time and hooked it up as video show. Next think I know it is smoking and popping. I quickly pulled the cables off and the unit split in two and top part went flying. It continued to smoke for a while. My unit is toast.. Not a good experience at all.
