I have this model. Works good, just a little slow to scan the ground with. Picks up gold very well, up to 8 inches deep. For the price it's a great value.
I've got this metal detector and got it from my father from christmas, in summer, I've found many dimes, penny like wheat and modern, Roosevelt dimes, and quarters. It completely worked, and it's a great metal detector.

Have the GC-1037 and liked it alot. However, the search coil failed and i've had an impossible time trying to buy a replacement. The machine is out of warranty and i've had no luck in finding an e-mail address or phone number to contact the manufacturer. Apparently when these things break your only alternative is to throw the machine away. It's very disappointing to say the least!

Very good demo thank you. You only needed to do an air test to see how deep it goes .

Just orderd my second ricomax detector . i go digging with freinds that have high end machines and. I dont notice any difference on performance .
What setting does this need to be on to find a white gold ring. I dropped my wedding ring in my yard and I'm trying to find it. Thanks
If you are getting a lot of false hits try removing or notching iron 4:30 on the video. Good Luck
