- It happens to all of us sooner or later. You get in your car and it won't start due to a dead battery and now you're stuck. I always keep a jump starter in my car and I've used it on multiple occasions to help other people out and I'm sure I'll need it again too, one of these days. This is a review of the Tacklife T8 Max Jumpstarter and we tested it in real-world brutal conditions. We're giving one of these away so watch and see how to enter! Getting out on the road is what Linda and I love to do with our converted cargo trailer camper. We're part time nomads and the nomadic lifestyle suits us to a Tee. One thing I like about your videos, you really emphasize a lot of self-sufficiency. It's really nice turning to a channel that's not just a bunch of foolishness or political junk.

My wife and I are 75 years young and both are handicapped. We love to travel the back roads and stop in remote places. This tackfife would be great for us and would eliminate one of our worries. Also, we love your videos as they are always so informative.

Thank you again Rick. Everybody should have one of these. I have people in the family who do not know how to open their hood or put this on. at least if they have it with them somebody might be able to help them get their car started.I can't go to everybody's broken car at the same time... I've been doing this kind of work for 40 years. I was a very hard sell away from regular heavy jump boxes. I have one very similar to that it works fantastic. I have family members who buy those stupid things they see on TV and a home shopping Network where it has four D batteries in it and they think it's going to perform magic in their cigarette lighter when the car is stuck dead! I bought all of them one for Christmas.
These certainly would make a great gift. I've already given one to each of the lady drivers in my family.

My husband and I have experience with the many appointments at the clinic after doctoring for several hours, coming out and to get in the vehicle to find out it won't start. I went to call for help and after the long day with my cell phone in my pocket it too was dead and no way to plug in so could call for help. This happen here in Montana
- 22 degrees without counting windchill.

Having watched your review of a similar product, I picked out a TackLife jump-starter battery for my Wife's upcoming birthday. That being the case, if I were to win the drawing, please draw again.
Your no-nonsense approach to traveling and enjoying nature is great to experience.
Tacklife recommends recharging their jumpstarters about every 3-4 months. One of the reasons they put the USB ports and the lights on these units is to encourage you to use them more often so that you automatically keep them charged and ready. Also, I should have mentioned that the T8 Max has a 24 month warranty!

We carried a jumpstarter sold at Costco ($49.95 on sale) around for several years and when
the time came to use it ---no go. Our vehicle is a large V8 SUV. Be sure to spend a little more
for a more powerful unit such as the one Gonagain demonstrated. Now we carry two upgraded
units that work for pickups and larger SUVs....field tested and used recently to help a stranded young couple along a remote stretch of the Northern CA coast. By the way, our friends with smaller vehicles find the unit Costco sells to be perfectly adequate. Thank you Gonagain for your most informative channel!
