It's not just graphics. On PC there's more traffic, more people, more variety of pedestrians (every person on the streets looks different) , objects won't disappear when you look away, theater mode etc.. These details make PC version more immersive. PS4 is pretty good though.

PC definitely looks better but the graphics improvements aren't huge like Rockstar were saying it would be from PS4. The only big advantages the PC version has is the 4K resolution, 60fps and mods.

I've discovered that you can do the editing and rendering on higher settings. It certainly isn't 60fps but it looks it fine at the other end (aside from the RUclips effect).
Using the rockstar editor, you can record on whatever settings you get the best generate. Then hoist the settings up high when you load the actual editor to do the project and render it. The frame rate drops for the editing when it doesn't matter but renders fine, albeit slowly.

RockStar uses the vector ribbon technique to draw the power lines in 2D. This produces almost no aliasing. And therefore, the aliasing comparison is not very correct. If you look back, you see that not even the last-gen version has aliasing. (Don't ask me why it's not used in Battlefield games).
The PC does FAR MORE then the PS4 can as well. Also, you can throw a budget PC together with used parts that will still beat console. I for one have the PS4 Pro that I use for a majority of any gaming a do. But, I also have a PC that many would consider as high end, or even overkill. Custom built, i7-8700K @5.2ghz CPU, MSI RTX 2080 Gaming GPU, that I use for certain games (especially ones that utilize Ray Tracing Tech like BF5, SOTTR, and Metro Exodus). For the sake or comparison, I recently build a Rig for my brother utilizing damn near all used parts. Built the system for $325 (Ryzen 5 2600x CPU, AMD Radeon RX580 GPU) and it beats the XB1-X at every turn.

PC graphics on the highest settings are always going to be better than console, there isn't any doubt about that. However, the unjustifiably high cost of PC hardware only to achieve a small edge over console graphics really diminishes any benefit this marginally better graphics offers for the average gamer. I'm not going to spend 2,000+ dollars on a gaming desktop only to have an insignificant difference in graphics compared to a 400 dollar console. The marginally better anti-aliasing and shadows on PC are just not worth over 1,000 bucks when I'm only playing 3-5 games a year.
You can spend as much as you want on a pc. You could Build a pc for the same price and play around the same performance and Wuality as a console. Spending $2000 is completley overkill and nowhere near needed. But poeple still do it anyway.
The frame rates are probably the biggest difference. the quality can be close, but 60 fps vs 30 can make a huge difference especially in driving or first person shooters. Also The PC is a little more immersive with more detail in the distance. But in reality you can have a good experience playing the game on either platform.
+The Mamba If you built a PC for the same Price as a PS4 it would perform better. It wouldn't have extreme graphics potential like the one shown in the Video but it would be better than the PS4. I also have to agree with The PS4 struggling on some games since i do own one. Often when i play games such as Bloodborne the FPS can Dip quite a lot when in combat.
The dynanic headlight shadows were the only feature that lacked in the PS4 version. That and the bit shorter draw distance, blurrier shadows & reflections were the biggest differences between the PC and PS4. I think that PS4 version is quite impressive graphically. 30 is not comfortable FPS. I found that once switching over to PC I had a better time playing because of how smooth it was. Though I have to admit, on PS4 the FPS is stable. Really impressive (for what shitty GTA V was back on old gen).

The PC does FAR MORE then the PS4 can as well. Also, you can throw a budget PC together with used parts that will still beat console. I for one have the PS4 Pro that I use for a majority of any gaming a do. But, I also have a PC that many would consider as high end, or even overkill. Custom built, i7-8700K @5.2ghz CPU, MSI RTX 2080 Gaming GPU, that I use for certain games (especially ones that utilize Ray Tracing Tech like BF5, SOTTR, and Metro Exodus). For the sake or comparison, I recently build a Rig for my brother utilizing damn near all used parts. Built the system for $325 (Ryzen 5 2600x CPU, AMD Radeon RX580 GPU) and it beats the XB1-X at every turn.

PC graphics on the highest settings are always going to be better than console, there isn't any doubt about that. However, the unjustifiably high cost of PC hardware only to achieve a small edge over console graphics really diminishes any benefit this marginally better graphics offers for the average gamer. I'm not going to spend 2,000+ dollars on a gaming desktop only to have an insignificant difference in graphics compared to a 400 dollar console. The marginally better anti-aliasing and shadows on PC are just not worth over 1,000 bucks when I'm only playing 3-5 games a year.
You can spend as much as you want on a pc. You could Build a pc for the same price and play around the same performance and Wuality as a console. Spending $2000 is completley overkill and nowhere near needed. But poeple still do it anyway.

The frame rates are probably the biggest difference. the quality can be close, but 60 fps vs 30 can make a huge difference especially in driving or first person shooters. Also The PC is a little more immersive with more detail in the distance. But in reality you can have a good experience playing the game on either platform.

The dynanic headlight shadows were the only feature that lacked in the PS4 version. That and the bit shorter draw distance, blurrier shadows & reflections were the biggest differences between the PC and PS4. I think that PS4 version is quite impressive graphically. 30 is not comfortable FPS. I found that once switching over to PC I had a better time playing because of how smooth it was. Though I have to admit, on PS4 the FPS is stable. Really impressive (for what shitty GTA V was back on old gen).
