Does Your Dog Hate Baths? Here’s How To Train Them

If you’ve struggled giving your dog a bath, here is an easy way for you to approach the situation and teach your dog to tolerate it. We break this specific event into two training parts, getting to the bath and then taking the bath. WE ACTUALLY DIDNT TAKE A BATH ON THE FIRST TRY, we didnt even attempt it, we just made sure he could be calm and comfortable approaching the tub. Then the second day we break down what it will look like to desensitize your dog to the sensitivities of taking the bath. Important to make sure you spend time on this part so that one day your dog may actually enjoy it.

Great video! The breakdown Is fantastic, it really shows the importance of doing multiple reps again and again to desensitise anxious/reactive dogs.
He might never love taking a bath, but that's OK! At least it's doable, safe, and not a crazy journey each time his owners will need to bath him 😂
