As soon as they can grip the bar. As long as it’s done under proper supervision with someone who knows what they’re doing it’s very healthy for them and the stimulation of growth hormone production from lifting will make them grow taller despite popular belief.

Saquon was doing the same thing at Penn State. Guys that rely on the weights too much: JJ Watt, TJ, Saquon, and C-Mac tend to get injured. Not saying it’s bad, it has something to do with timing and scheduling workouts. You got muscle damage from smashing weights and then you’re getting hit every game. They’ve lightened up on practice recent years but still.
I think JJ and TJ have both torn their pec during a game. You know damn well you can’t be bombing chest before the game. Just maintain during the season and keep that area free of damage and lactic acid.

You obviously don’t know what you’re talking about they just don’t know how to to keep their bodies healthy because they weren’t taught ways to do so, they were only taught to maximize power output and not to build protection, a guy with a channel called KneesOverToesGuy teaches both maximizing force output and protection because only doing one is like having a Lamborghini with sedan brakes you’re destined for failure
