Yep, I need a reason to not party and get drunk. Training and feeling good are what my life is about now. I prepare for my workout by eating good and getting fluids, immediately after I’m on my recovery and prep for my next workout. It never ends, I fucking love it. I wasted the first part of my life being a playboy and getting fucked up all of the time. I found no happiness in that life. Now with the discipline I’ve accumulated I can be happy and satisfied knowing that I’m pushing myself to get stronger and better.
Fitness is a beautiful thing that has so much more benefit then just the physical results. Part of why I train in the morning is to help get my mindset in the right place before tackling the day.
Seth I’m 77 years old and I have been working out since I was 13 years old with a home made concrete barbell . Did a 2 hour leg work out this morning. I know how you feel I love the hurt . I’ve always lifted for the hurt . Love your videos and appreciate all the work you do for us .
Went to the gym today and met a 98 year old woman doing machine weights. She goes to the gym 3 to 4 days a week with her daughter who is in her 70’s. So while your crying about how tough it is, there is a 98 year old woman putting in the work in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The statement about weights keeping you out of trouble resonated with me deep.. lifting weights mapped out a much healthier and disciplined life going forward and I couldn’t see myself ever parting ways with this life style. I love front squats because I have to keep upright so there's less stress on my lower back. When I back squat, I tend to squat low bar and low bar forces you to lean forward more and by the end I'm feeling it in my lower back. I have Anhidrotic ectodermal dysplasia so I deal with no sweat glands (cant sweat) and immune deficiency's but I don't let that shit stop me. This motivates me beyond what you will know. lost my dad young, i don’t think i can express how much you mean to me. i need these old school one on ones with you throughout the years these training style videos have always been my favorite because they bring the animal out of you. you showed my it’s okay to be fucked up and let that animal loose among many other things🍻
So, I did the workout the best I could and now two days later the warmup abductions and adduction exercises are killing me. I always stretch my inner thighs on leg day but been years since I’ve done those two exercises…and I am feeling it!!!
