    Seth, thank you for addressing the issue of, creating goals in your video, without it, there really is no clear vision. You’re correct when you state if you are not prepared you’re lacking. Being prepared gives the hungry that extra advantage alongside the hard work. Back in the old school, classic eras, they didn’t have any coaches. For those that can’t afford a coach, you basically are there mentor. You hit every point and provided value and insight as a coach/life coach to the general public; you touched goals, training, eating, warming up, and not being a pussy. Extraordinary content brother, worth the time to listen.

    Thank you . I have over trained for 6 months. Hitting the heavy. Doing 7 days a week. 2 hours a day and still went to work. I ate like a beast. But damb I was so tired and all joints hurt. I decided to start taking 2 days off a week and I now feel better and my muscles are growing in size now.

    • @GloryFit
      @GloryFit 5 лет назад +14

      its crazy right, literally its just those rest days that you need to grow. To me it was more of a mental thing to not go to the gym when I had the time and will to go regardless of what my body could take.

      Man.Without rest,you dont grow.Even on gear that you can recover much ,much faster if you dont rest enough,you will grow less.Optimization as seth said is very important.Some people take the opposite route and not train enough ,that also leads to poor result.

      Not all calories are made equal 700c of yams and chicken breast is way different than 700c of candy. It’s not at all so simple various foods create disparate hormonal responses. Certain foods actually increase metabolism lean meat in particular. Certain carbs make you bloated others don’t they all metabolize at different rates. If you eat clean you can eat significantly more calories and lose weight compared to somebody that eats processed junk.

    Fantastic stuff. Like the famous strong man Albert yulug said and Like Lee Haney say's stimulation not destroy , Always use the staggered training system , eventually build up to heavy start with lighter for a week then medium for a week then your heavy for a week or two weeks maximum then go to medium for a week then if you are feeling good go back to heavy training for a week then back to medium BUT anytime you start to feel Like you aren't progressing cut back to light for a week then your medium then your heavy , This will enable you to keep the progress steady and recovery on point as long as you get the nutrition in , Don't let your ego get the better of you ,Be smart , the hare 🐇 didn't win the tortoise did 🐢. good luck☘️

    Great video. Something I think most people miss when discussing overtraining is the mental resilience development gained from training hard when you feel like doing anything but train. You mentioned grinding through with just will and determination, I think that's optimising a champions mindset of doing what it takes whatever the weather. When the mental & physical are in sync of optimisation that's when you're cooking with gas

    I've watched alot of videos over the last few years. I used to be in the Army and box. I was 230 to 260 summer and winter weights for years. Chrons came about in my life and I deteriorated to 148 pounds. I felt lost and didnt feel good about myself. Everytime I ran into friends I would get asked about being a drug addict or asked if I was dying. So 2 years ago I had surgery and have been pretty good since. I started buying weight and have quite a bit at home with a nice gym. I managed to gain back some and got to 175 but couldnt get any bigger. I started watching your videos and I definitely dont look like you and that's fine...but I now weigh 205. That's 30 pounds since July. And everyday I learn something new from you....thanks man and keep it up. Now time for me TO GO FUCK SOME SHIT UP!!!

    He Seth, ....i'm new to you channel. I love your no nonsense attitude. I have watched a ton of videos lately to help push myself on my journey. I love your "no judgement" attitude. Unfortunately I became morbidly obese. I'm down 70 lbs and my main goal is to lose any and every pound no matter what it is. But when I reach a lower weight my goal is to rebuild. This part of my journey is down right hard. Being such low calorie and always deficit you always feel like your tired, lethargic, and weak as fuck. But I just keep remembering that it is only one half of the journey. I have done this before I have a severe autoimmune condition and the trials of that changes the way you look at life. Anyway, I am almost halfway done with the first half of my Goals (initial goals). I wanted to say thanks for making these videos. They arent for everyone, but they work for me.

    I was a 3 sport athlete in highschool and a college athlete. I have been over trained before and did drive on pure adrenaline. Most people will not hit this point through self pressure. It's a good thing to take a break if you want too but the key is not to use it as an excuse. A large portion of people let the little voice in the back of their head tell them that its okay to relax and take a day off(nothing wrong with it) I personally see it as an excuse for a majority of people that are looking for a break. Take a break if you want to but understand the human body can take an incredible amount of force. I'm also a rugby player now and even if I play this sport for the rest of my life and lift along side it I don't believe I'll ever hit my previous points of overtraining. Food for thought.

    Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I ran across your Chicken and rice food simplifying diet. It helped me find a baseline for my digestible food consumption. I've mangled your teachings to match my chemistry. The basics are there. Good lookin breh.

    Take this onboard people, I've lived with chronic fatigue for 3 years now because of over training. Its not something you can just sleep off and recover from, live and learn

    Man.. As a long time recreational lifter on and off.. I really needed to hear this. I get bored then quit lifting.. Then start all over again and repeat the process. I,myself in my day,worked out EVERY single day for 3 years straight for 2-3 hours a day.Yes.. I did it. I know that wasn't the right thing to do now,25 years later.. It worked for me. I know now I could been on another level had I really understood the whole process.. Who knows what would have happened. I could have probably got big time and been on Seth's level. Anyway.. I really listened to this video.. Straight knowledge here in this video

    I am a hard hitter , its very hard for me to periodice my training, i tend to go to failure in every session, eventhough i promise myself to slow down. How does this overtraining show out, my CNS is challenged , its hard for my CNS to shut down when i try to fall asleep (falling feeling 7-8-9 times in a row when trying to fall asleep) , i have night fever, my strength decrease and my cortisol level increase, lately i even tried to have shutdown symptoms , like gyno, how did this happen ? Laxogenine works crazy fine on me, probally has like anavar effect strength and recovery vice, the downfall of this increased strength and recovery was that i didnt see the overtraining symptoms arise, took me one month to bounce back, i really need to be a more clever lifter from now on.
    This video really made me reflect 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
