As I recall, the billion dollar bill had various pieces of billion dollar military equipment on it and Alice with an Uncle Sam hat. Album also had the song Elected on it, appropriate for this year!
Guys, Alice Cooper still touring and kicking ass at age 75. I took my 2 twenty something sons to see him last year in Pennsylvania and they were blown away. Not so much a concert as a theatrical event. Do yourselves a favor and check out his website to see if he is performing near you.
Attention Nick & Ryan Donovan- Season of the Witch 🧙♂️(66) Most Halloween & popular among reactors 🎃. When Alice was in the recording studio coincidentally, Donovan was also their. Alice asked if he would sing a part( unplanned, spur of the moment). Donovan also a legend and completely different type of artist knocked it out of the park. When most of us originally heard this, we had no idea who it was and never thought about it( knowing this could have distracted you guys).. Guitarists Glen Buxton and Michael Bruce are legends creating a menacing atmosphere playing exactly what the song calls for. Keep in mind it was 1973. It's a classic Alice track!! Lastly you mentioned missing Alice live. Alice is one of the very few who seem to get better with age and still killing it live with a better spectacle of a show than ever! In fact is currently on tour!!
The "Donovan" on the song is the same artist who did "Season Of The Witch" A great Halloween song. Also other songs are Mellow Yellow", "Sunshine Superman", and "Hurdy gurdy man". - Wait, have you reacted to Donovan yet??
For 🎃 Halloween Donovan - Season of the Witch !!! Nothing is more appropriate and popular among reactors for Halloween !! Please edit your comment and suggest it!! We need to make it happen this week!! 😃
You haven’t hit “I’m Eighteen”. One of his best and great instrumentals. If you end up doing it, it will be a great memory about my best friend, who is gone now.
Snakes weren’t thrown at you lol. He has had beautiful snakes he’d put around his neck. Cooper respects animals. One of the most fun shows ever! Seen him dozens of times!
Alice Cooper on Halloween needs to include Welcome To My Nightmare. Alice Cooper was the Arizona resident even decades ago. First seen Alice in the mid 60s performing on the Wallace and Ladmo show. Wasn't until the show had about ended after 35 years Alice Cooper finally received his Ladmo bag. Lol Have you heard Edgar Winter doing Frankenstein? How about the song DOA from the band blood Rock? 🚜🤠🐂
Great reaction. OMG you've got to do Donald Fagen New Frontier. He's from Steely Dan. . I just heard it again and I knew it it was good but I was blown away. Your jaw will drop to the floor.
Great choices though not going to do again this week. They should do Donovan- Season of the Witch! Nothing is more Halloween! When Alice was in the recording studio coincidently Donovan was also there recording. Alice asked if he would sing a part. This was unplanned and spur of the moment. Donovan is a completely different type of artists and knocked it out of the park. When most of us originally heard this we had no idea it was Donovan and never thought about it.
In the very early days opened for the Doors. The crowd was so freaked out they( most likely tripping) ran out in fear! What it takes to have that effect causing the majority to miss the Doors!! 😆
One interesting fact about him... the band was called Alice Cooper and he was simply the lead singer, but people kept asking who Alice was or just assuming it was him, so he just decided to take on the persona. Donavan was a popular artist from the 60's who had several hits late in the decade. While Alice Cooper did have several hits in the 60's & 70's, he's really known for his macabre stage show.
Steven is my fav. Of this band, along with Halo of flies, only women bleed, Desperado ( which was written about Jim Morrison ). Or his more morbid songs like… I love the dead, dead babies, and Cold Ethel. Great stuff. And the drummer Neal Smith was a very underrated drummer. Him and Keith Moon were rivals/friends. Always competing against each other.
Two suggestions for halloween: 1) More Oingo Boingo ("Stay", "Just Another Day" or "Weird Science". I Know they have a lot of great deep cuts, but these three hits are very halloweenie. 2) The B 52's: "Rock Lobster" or "Private Idaho", obvious choices, but again, perfect for a halloween party (or any party).
There's alot going on in this song for sure. Built around the drum part it goes in a lot of directions but Neal Smith' drum riff and Dennis Dunnaways bass keep the song on track A staple of Alice's live shows to this day. If you're going to give it multiple listingings be sure to sure check out one of the live performances with the current band.
Not a fan of this song ... But it is good for the Marathon. My parents had this album when I was a kid. I was so scared of it. The baby used to freak me out with the black eyes and snake skin. What is a kid supposed to think. 😂 Also, I am still baffled they had one of his albums. I have respect for AC, as an adult.
Please consider reacting to the band Tantric. Song is Breakdown. Another song is named Astounded. Thanks and I promise y'all will add them to your personal playlists.
Unlike you guys, after the first time I heard it on the radio, I ran out and bought the album! Great album and band! OH--if you dig the bass, let me suggest "Another Man's Woman" by Atlanta Rhythm Section. It contains one of, if not THE best bass solos ever.
With the exception of Rob Zombie--and he came to the party later--what single musician personifies the Halloween vibe better than Alice Cooper? (Even Rob Zombie's first solo single included Alice.) Glad you're having a "Halloweek", guys.
You should do the official video of Cirice by Ghost for Halloween 🎃 specials or their Hunter's Moon song as it was on the end credits of Halloween Kills movie
You want another good Canadian band to listen too check out Big Wreck....Ghost and Lady Like and Oath are all good songs, especially if you like guitars.
Alice Cooper was my favorite artist in high school and he isn't progressive rock. It's called shock rock. In fact, Alice Cooper is known as the "Godfather of Shock Rock" and is in no way similar to the musical style of Yes or Rush.
Alice Cooper may have been a hard rock band, but they still incorporated a variety of musical elements and they absolutely had progressive moments. Halo of Flies anyone?
The second voice, with the UK accent, was Donovan Leitch. He was the Psychedelic Pop Guru in the late 60s.
The album cover was supposed to be a snakeskin wallet. Inside was a poster of a billion dollar bill with Alice's face in the middle.
As I recall, the billion dollar bill had various pieces of billion dollar military equipment on it and Alice with an Uncle Sam hat. Album also had the song Elected on it, appropriate for this year!

An all-time Top 3 Alice Cooper song. 🙌🏻
Yep. Great song from a great album.
Alice still tours
Great band
Dennis Dunaway, one of the most underrated bass players in rock history.
💯 agree!
The Ballad of Dwight Frye is a pretty damn good underrated deeper cut also.
They hit it years ago per my suggestion
Love this album, one with the complete Billion Dollars in the gatefold, and one without. Excellent album
Attention Nick & Ryan

Saw Alice the day after I graduated high school, June 22 1978. Blondie was the opening act.
A classic and my favorite.
Alice Cooper band and lead are such a tight band. You can't help but be overwhelmed by the theatrical show but you listen again for the talent.
The "Donovan" on the song is the same artist who did "Season Of The Witch" A great Halloween song. Also other songs are Mellow Yellow", "Sunshine Superman", and "Hurdy gurdy man". - Wait, have you reacted to Donovan yet??
For 🎃 Halloween

@@jgsrhythm100 Thx for the reply!
Dennis Dunaway on bass.
Original band was special
Thanks so much for doing this one !! My favorite Alice Cooper song by far !! Those drums \m/
Not just a concert guys!! It was a crazy ass show!!🤘🔥
Still is!! One of the few srtists whom seems to get better with age and currently on tour!He tours every Halloween season!!
Generation Landslide was my favorite from this album ❤❤❤❤
You haven’t hit “I’m Eighteen”. One of his best and great instrumentals. If you end up doing it, it will be a great memory about my best friend, who is gone now.
It's a rite of passage!!
Eighteen was the first single I ever owned..my mother bought it for me when I was 12 😊
Saw him live just a couple of weeks ago.. Brilliant gig! 🔥🤘
Stephen/The Awakening is a great creepy Alice Cooper song. Same with Cold Ethyl.
What a jam.
Underrated band.
This entire album was great - especially at the time it was released - some really good stuff on here!
Timothy by the Buoy's is a controversial banger!
Suddenly aim 13 laughing my ass off listening to this in my room. Have you done his I want to be Elected ?
Snakes weren’t thrown at you lol. He has had beautiful snakes he’d put around his neck. Cooper respects animals. One of the most fun shows ever! Seen him dozens of times!
A C is great!!, Still listen to his greatest hits alllll the time, love it!!
I can’t even remember how many times I saw Alice! I’m 69 now😬
Under my Wheels is a great short jam
Telephone is ringing🎼🎶🤠
Elected for election week!!
My earliest memory of Alice Cooper is his no-show in Toronto in 1980. The crowd rioted and the papers and TV news just slayed him lol.
I love this song….
Alice Cooper on Halloween needs to include Welcome To My Nightmare.
Alice Cooper was the Arizona resident even decades ago.

Have you heard Edgar Winter doing Frankenstein?
How about the song DOA from the band blood Rock?
🚜🤠🐂
Halo of Fly's is a great Cooper tune.
Elected for election week!!
Agree Halo of Flies is awesome
NIIIIICCCCE GUYS! 😊AND THE HUGE FM RADIO HIT FROM THIS WAS : NO MORE MISTER NICE GUY 💯AND MY GUESS IS YOU MOST LIKELY KNOW OF THE SONG! 👍
I saw Cooper a bunch of times in the 502 !!!!
Alice still does the guillotine in his mid 70's
Nice guy, met him in Toronto coming out of a bar
Great reaction. OMG you've got to do Donald Fagen New Frontier. He's from Steely Dan. . I just heard it again and I knew it it was good but I was blown away. Your jaw will drop to the floor.
Donald fagan was great as a solo artist!!many good songs❤
Alice can still put on a great show.
Saw this concert in the mid-70's, it was a controversial album 😅
This song is pure brilliance. He has an album called Flush the Fashion that is a hidden masterpiece.
Alice Cooper (band) was amazing. Alice Cooper (song and dance man) was good.
He is still amazing and currently on tour. Yes, song and dance man! He brought Horror and Rock into a Broadway esque live experience !!
Try Cooper's Cold Ethyl or Dead Babies, perfect for the season!
Great choices though not going to do again this week.
They should do
Donovan- Season of the Witch!
Nothing is more Halloween!

Yall know he’s in his 70’s and still touring?!?! Just was in Chattanooga Tennessee not long ago!!
He's a scratch golfer John Dailey a pro golfer went to Alice for golf advice. First shock rock , theater. Think about Meatloaf theatrics.
In the very early days opened for the Doors. The crowd was so freaked out they( most likely tripping) ran out in fear! What it takes to have that effect causing the majority to miss the Doors!! 😆
My cousins son (second cousin🤷♀️) caddied for him in phoenix. Said he was an awesomely nice person ❤

He still pays the original band members to use the name Alice Cooper..pays them royalties
What fun!
"Muscle of Love" next please, you won't regret it. Thanks!

Donovan- Season of the Witch!
Ministry, "Every Day is Halloween"
Rattles, "The Witch"
You guys gonna do Saga again anytime soon? Careful Where You Step, Don't Be Late, No Regrets, Framed, Wind Him Up, etc.
he's still touring so you could see him if you choose to
Great song, you guys are nuts. This song blasts, rocks

You must do the song Steven.
With the exception of Rob Zombie--and he came to the party later--what single musician personifies the Halloween vibe better than Alice Cooper? (Even Rob Zombie's first solo single included Alice.) Glad you're having a "Halloweek", guys.
Sorry for commenting on my own comment, lol, but Danny Elfman would round out that trio nicely.
Donovan- Season of the Witch!
Rob Zombie is an Alice fanatic ans inducted him into the
R& R Hall of Fame
Unfinished Sweet, from the same album..
You should do the official video of Cirice by Ghost for Halloween 🎃 specials or their Hunter's Moon song as it was on the end credits of Halloween Kills movie

Groupie!!!

Yeah, we know. All we said was that the bass has progressive moments in this particular song. Which it does.
Alice Cooper may have been a hard rock band, but they still incorporated a variety of musical elements and they absolutely had progressive moments. Halo of Flies anyone?
