I hit the area with clippers like a week or so before but don’t shave so the artist gets the freshest skin. I do always tell the artist I’ll do the shaving though.

Ive tattooed my knee 4 times 😅 the first time the guy who did it didnt do a good job. Then another tattooer told me he could fix it but it ended up worse. So i blacked it out and had to do it 2 times to get it fully covered 😅 felt great haha!
