Lol that was a good set. Hard to do gay jokes these days but he pulls it off nicely.
It ain't hard; a comedian just shouldn't go for the lowest hanging fruit and say anti-gay shit. A talented comedian with wit and poise can do gay jokes that are insightful, tasteful and make everyone laugh. This is what separates the pros from the amateurs.
@@JanetStarChild for real, like I actually get annoyed when people say "all people do is get offended these days" cause it's not true. Well it is, but it's happening for decades. It's just easier now because the internet. but people like comedy cause obviously it's funny. Comedians aren't out here being edgy and saying gays should die or saying ni**er and acting like it's funny. People find these comedians funny cause they are using jokes in smart and not in edgy ways. The only community that is truly ass is "cancel" community. Read on them if you don't know them. but they're the ones that think saying a gay joke 10 years ago is offensive lmao.
I think you can joke about anything once you realize it's not what you say, it's how you say it. Lisa Lampanelli jokes about gay people, different races (especially black men) and all kinds of topics, but she does it in a way that's very funny and not insulting.
