      I wouldn't have it. I wouldn't have anything that has the motor mounted on / under the swingarm like that... Nope. It needs better positioning and some protection.

    • @spottedsupercars7919
      @spottedsupercars7919 Год назад +4

      @@st33ldi9italyou do realise that the motor is there for weight distribution which helps in a larger battery, it’s designed for mostly roads, solars Instagram shows it going off road properly with zero issues for the motor, if you knew about weight distribution it’s perfectly distributed. Surrons motor is right under the battery which means it needs a sump guard to protect the motor and cables this dosent. It’s beautiful

      @@spottedsupercars7919 That’s nice. All I know is it wouldn’t last a year for me. If that… and, if you knew anything about moto design, you would know that excess weight on a swing arm effects performance negatively. But what would I know, only been a biker my whole life and mx racer when younger. Like I said, I wouldn’t have it. What’s the point of cg if you aren’t gonna be goin off-road or jumping it? There isn’t. It looks cool. Great. Go ahead and drop 6k cause it looks cool.

      @@st33ldi9ital I have never ridden a dirt bike. But i love my electric scooters for cruising and going to work. Good way to save gas. I really like this and am considering getting one just to mash around for fun and take to work. And it does look pretty dope. Although after watching sur ron videos and going off road and off jumps looks like alot of fun. So your saying this bike isnt capable of doing that without potentially hitting engine and braking it?

    Just got a variant to this, the vmx08 from e-powersports, and this is an awesome bike. Helps that my state just eliminated both pedal and wattage limits for electric mopeds so this is a moped so 5 bucks a year and one VIN number inspection is all I need for LIFE. This bike is tuned down and can probably handle 12-20kw of power with no upgrades needed bc the controller is 300 amps and the motor/battery seems capable of it as well. Needs shinko 244s or street tires bc it's more commuter than dirt bike but can do both. Love it so far.

      Hard to say about the metro. If you don't look down (no pedals) it's looks a lot like a big-tire e-bike, because it's so skinny side to side. I think the headlight is a bit of a giveaway though. It's the shape and size of a motorcycle headlight, where the Surrons have more of a NAMI / escooter headlight. -Paul

    interesting, I do wish they had a pedal option just because in a lot of cities (mine included) no pedals means you will be stopped and your bike seized by local law enforcment as an unregistered vehicle and for riding on trails or bike lanes on a motorized vehicle. those generating pedals might actually make sense here, no connection to wheel just a generator spum by the pedals to add a little power to the battery

To my knowledge Denzel went under or discontinued the samurai and the factory that made the frame acquired the rights. This frame will be the new Enduro bomber style frame imo. There are at least 3 different companies selling this frame/motor/controller under different names (vmx08, eclipse, shredder). Mine has a different display and a thumb "throttle" that activates Regen brakes. The really cool thing is that this bike is tuned waaaayyy down compared to its full potential and could be a 12kw to 20kw monster with NO UPGRADES just programming the controller.

    If you really want to sell alot of these they need to price match surrons at 4.5k only then will ot be a better bike for the price, although still not a better off road option. For 6k it competes woth the surron ultra bee and the ultra bee is a far better bike at that price range. One big shitty thing about the solar is you void your warranty if you jump it or do "extreme riding" if you just want to use it as a comkuter bioe around town ot would be a great bike.

      @@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide its a nice bike I almost bought the original version the Denzel samurai. I was very tempted, the bike was only like 4k at the time and to my knowledge didn't void any warranty for extreme riding. I went with the Talaria sting instead for many reasons mainly being that it's just a better off road bike. Though I definitely think the solar is a better road bike if that's what your gonna use it for and they fixed alot of the things I didn't like about the Denzel like a bigger R
      Swappable battery, foldable footpegs, better controller, better suspension, better moto style brakes. It really is a nice bike I just think people will want to use a bike like this for occasionally messing around off road and I don't think you should void your warranty doing so. Just my 2 cents.

    These ebikes are superb but the price is still too high. You can get a superb performance petrol motorbike in great condition for these prices. Loads of people would love a battery bike as they don’t go very far, but the price is stopping them. Also they NEED to be licence plateable and legal for the road. That’s what people WANT.

    They need to stop calling these e-bikes.
    Ebikes have pedals. Everything else is a motorcycle.
    Also, in most places to be considered an ebike, it needs peddles. This is considered a motorcycle.
    In canada, you need a motorcycle license to use that bike and must register it since 72v.
    Dont do it, cops pull you over and theres no peddles, its getting towed away.
