There are many companies that can buy a mold of a scooter from a OEM manufacturer in China. I would guess that it's to keep the seat height at 32 inches so it's accessible to more people. Pre-load can be adjusted so that it stays higher when the rider is sitting on it. -Paul
If you really want to sell alot of these they need to price match surrons at 4.5k only then will ot be a better bike for the price, although still not a better off road option. For 6k it competes woth the surron ultra bee and the ultra bee is a far better bike at that price range. One big shitty thing about the solar is you void your warranty if you jump it or do "extreme riding" if you just want to use it as a comkuter bioe around town ot would be a great bike.
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide its a nice bike I almost bought the original version the Denzel samurai. I was very tempted, the bike was only like 4k at the time and to my knowledge didn't void any warranty for extreme riding. I went with the Talaria sting instead for many reasons mainly being that it's just a better off road bike. Though I definitely think the solar is a better road bike if that's what your gonna use it for and they fixed alot of the things I didn't like about the Denzel like a bigger R Swappable battery, foldable footpegs, better controller, better suspension, better moto style brakes. It really is a nice bike I just think people will want to use a bike like this for occasionally messing around off road and I don't think you should void your warranty doing so. Just my 2 cents.
These ebikes are superb but the price is still too high. You can get a superb performance petrol motorbike in great condition for these prices. Loads of people would love a battery bike as they don’t go very far, but the price is stopping them. Also they NEED to be licence plateable and legal for the road. That’s what people WANT.
They need to stop calling these e-bikes. Ebikes have pedals. Everything else is a motorcycle. Also, in most places to be considered an ebike, it needs peddles. This is considered a motorcycle. In canada, you need a motorcycle license to use that bike and must register it since 72v. Dont do it, cops pull you over and theres no peddles, its getting towed away.
A moped can only go 30. So how can this be anything different than a motorcycle. There are limits on motor size to be an ebike so eco mode doesnt actually make it legal as a ebike. So this is still technically not street legal i would assume in any way.
Yeah carbon 6k no thanks I'd buy a dr650 first because I'm a dinosaur and I like to pull up to gas barrel in south America and be gone In seconds and I also like to go 100 mph not 40 😊
But then you have to listen to a thumper! :-P I can listen to triples, twins and cross-plane 4's all day, but thumper sounds wear me down. (I used to own a motorcycle shop in SF called MotoJava). I know, I know what you're going to say.... Braaaaaap! And that's true! But the rest of the time bup bup bup :-) -Paul

Dude, I’m here for the exact same reason. I’m a trucker too. Im going to buy one and put it right behind the truck. What i live about this one is the super light weight and the ability to run 60mph and battery exchange
Good luck competing against Talaria... It's taking over the world. Be honest did they send you a unit to review.
We have not gotten the talaria yet! -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide I was asking if the bike on your video is a review unit. Talaria doesn't need to send review units they're good to go.
@@elpapito7809 The Talaria R beats the Surron X in every way.
how weather-proof is this? Could this be left parked out like a true motorbike?
We don’t recommend that for theft reasons
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Well, my work is in a barbed wire yard on govt. property, so I was just curious.
Why the rear frame isn’t lifted ? Rear suspension Should’ve been lifted a few inches…
They did a lot of research and testing on this one and seems solid! We had a blast testing our unit. -Vosk
I would guess that it's to keep the seat height at 32 inches so it's accessible to more people. Pre-load can be adjusted so that it stays higher when the rider is sitting on it. -Paul
Any chance you know the weight of the battery?
It is 35lbs! Thanks for stopping by. -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide damn!
What is (form. ESG)
Former Electric Scooter Guide
If you really want to sell alot of these they need to price match surrons at 4.5k only then will ot be a better bike for the price, although still not a better off road option. For 6k it competes woth the surron ultra bee and the ultra bee is a far better bike at that price range. One big shitty thing about the solar is you void your warranty if you jump it or do "extreme riding" if you just want to use it as a comkuter bioe around town ot would be a great bike.
We will see how this stacks up with the competition in time but we really enjoyed our test unit. -Vosk
Though I definitely think the solar is a better road bike if that's what your gonna use it for and they fixed alot of the things I didn't like about the Denzel like a bigger R
Swappable battery, foldable footpegs, better controller, better suspension, better moto style brakes. It really is a nice bike I just think people will want to use a bike like this for occasionally messing around off road and I don't think you should void your warranty doing so. Just my 2 cents.
How co you not get pulled over on this thing
Most PEVs are not legal so if all depends on which locality you are in and if they enforce it or not.
If your moped exceeds legal limits you can license it as a motorcycle with no speed restrictions!
Besides a VIN, it also seems have a frame build for full grown adults :-)
It’s an amazing machine for sure! -Vosk
This is a motorcycle I need one I can put a license plate and the security is awesome
For sure! It’s an excellent machine to say the least. -Vosk
This looks dope. If I can get it licensed as a motorcycle at dmv this is what Im really looking for. Who can afford a $40k fucking harley?
Yes that will be possible in the next few months. You will be able to register it. -Vosk
I can't really call this a bike. If people see one of these on a bike path, they would probably be not at all happy.
Depends on where you are! -Vosk
RAMIER YOUR FAVOURITE SCOOTERS JUST GOT BETTER KAABO ANNOUNCED THE WOLF KING GTR
We should be getting one the test! Thanks for the heads up. -Vosk
The extra weight of the battery would probably bring you closer to 110 miles
Thanks for stopping by!
I'll wait for the 160v model lol.
These ebikes are superb but the price is still too high. You can get a superb performance petrol motorbike in great condition for these prices. Loads of people would love a battery bike as they don’t go very far, but the price is stopping them. Also they NEED to be licence plateable and legal for the road. That’s what people WANT.
You have the ability to register it and insure it but that’s optional. Most places it’s a very very grey area.
They will be selling a pedal kit soon!
Do you need a license for this bike
Depends on your state! It has the ability to be registered if desired.
I still think the bike needs a smash plate on that underslung motor
We have had no issues with our model! -Vosk
3:28 lol trying to avoid saying your height
Its expensive right! 😅
Surron prices! Better specs. -Vosk
how i wish i could afford these e bikes
Awesome bikes for sure! -Vosk
💯‼️💙
I'm curious if you had a brand name established and a following why on earth do you change it?
We're branching out beyond scooters, and typing out electric-scooter.guide was harder than riderguide.com :-) -Paul
@Rider Guide (form. ESG) Paul either way you guys are my go to pros!
Thank you so much Patrick! :-) -Paul
All I want is the ability to pedal then it's legal
They will have a pedal kit in the future! -Vosk
A moped can only go 30. So how can this be anything different than a motorcycle. There are limits on motor size to be an ebike so eco mode doesnt actually make it legal as a ebike. So this is still technically not street legal i would assume in any way.
This can be registered! It has a vin
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide but only as a moped correct or can it be registered as a motorcycle?
Yes. You can register as a motorcycle here in America
Talaria Sting r rebrand.....with a 72 volt battery but limited in speed.
Rider Guide..can you confirm for us?
These guys have been known to rebrand ..somewhat...
Not at all related to the Talaria. This has a carbon fiber frame. I understand that there is an existing e-moto out there that shares a lot in common with this one. Samurai something? But not the Talaria. -Paul
this bike is a rebrand of denzel samurai, originally priced at $3500, now they are doubling the price after the name change 🤣 what a joke
You what is stopping me from getting this great Ebike? Answer: my wife! Right all married guys?
Haha
That's kinda pathetic.
This has to be my least favorite ebike. They got so much wrong while trying to compete with surron/talaria.
What things do you like better about the Surron? And do you prefer the X or the Ultra? -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide frame material, Good string aluminum will do. Battery compartment, battery swaps or removal needs to be easy. Swing arm and Suspension components, they play the lines of it being off road bike it is not. could’ve just made it look like a nice road bike . Motor placement, it’s asking to be broken off. Chain size. how do you make a product that is obviously competing with surron (it’s even in the tittle of this video and most other YT reviewers) inferior in every way and more expensive. This bike is 6k, Get the surron on Alibaba 3800 and spend 2200 on upgrades, thank me later.
Everyone can afford them might be a strech lol.
I'd say a very very VERY small percentage of the population can afford to spend $1500+ on a Bic. Most people can afford to just "get rid of their car" and switch it for an electric vehicle
Oh I'm sorry, 6000
You would be surprised how many over $1500 scooters are sold yearly!
Pretty please with a cherry on top can I win
