So, is the Gen 3 a very significant upgrade over the previous generations 2wd?
Currently running the rear motor version and it runs very nicely. But watching your comparison videos, I am hesitant to upgrade. What do you think? Buy the gen 3 or upgrade the rear motor version? Thanks Adam for answering the questions.

If you enjoy running the rear motor version than stick with it and have fun. You can buy lots of practice entry and buy lots of tires for the cost of a new SRX2 GEN3 kit. The SRX2 GEN3 can be configured to perform just as good as the SRX2 rear motor on loose dirt. The SRX2 GEN 3 is a moderate upgrade over the SRX2 MH and major upgrade over the SRX2 RM. The other reason to upgrade to the SRX2 GEN3 is the parts availability. The SRX2 GEN3 will have more support and availability than the older versions.

@@adamlapid5201 So Adam in your own words, is the rear motor buggy easier to drive or more difficult than the midmotor buggy. I went on forums but they had like the big armaa trucks which the weight is higher. But in 1/10 scale, is there a big difference in the handling? Thanks again

@@thenameisrwac5239 Rear motor buggies are easier to drive on rough and loose surfaces. Mid-motor buggies are easier to drive on high grip srfaces. There is a very big difference between rear motor buggies and mid-motor buggies. Mid-motor buggies can carry more speed through a corner than a rear motor because of the more centered weight distribution. Mid-motor buggies can change direction quicker and with more stability than rear motor buggies. Mid-motor buggies have been developed much more in the last 5 years than rear motor buggies were in the previous 20 years. All manufacturers of 1:10 2wd racing buggies have mid-motor buggy kits as their main 2wd platform. 1:10 2wd mid-motor buggies/trucks/short course favor the current high grip surfaces and layouts.
