I've never understood a person paying so much for a home in Florida (an area of tornados and hurricanes) but can't be offered natural disaster insurance.
This appears to be Palm Beach which is on the east coast of FL. This was a result of a tornado that while caused by the hurricane - there's no way he could have known that would have hit his house...
I was at Tampa Bay Downs in the early 90s when the tornado hit the racetrack. I couldn't believe the damage because Florida isn't prone to that kind of tornado damage. And here it is again. We typically have cute little twists that take off corners of siding or rip up a little bit of a mobile home or two.. But these are monsters for Florida. And what person... In their right mind .. is filming that tornado!! Let the ring cameras capture these things. You get into a safe spot. I've seen what it can do !!!! And trust me... You don't want to feel the suffering!!!! You better hope it either doesn't get you or it wipes you out. It can literally leave you in a tree, hanging upside down, with a board sliced in a body part like it was made to be there. Take shelter.
Who’s the Darwin Award nominee filming that had the stupidity to stand behind a glass window as a tornado ripped through the yard instead of taking shelter?
Don't do that!! I think most people especially home owners would be filming it!! Praise and thank the lord he is OK, as of now NBC saying 12 lives were taken. 12 to many, My prayers to the families and ALL the victims of this disaster. ♥ 🙏
These homes were obviously built extremely well, and this Man and his family are very fortunate. However, people should never underestimate the power of Mother Nature. If you are under a Hurricane Watch, put up your shutters and make plans to evacuate, if need be. If there is a tornado warning, get to the safest area of your home, immediately--and, never stand in front of a window, or open any windows or doors. It is better to be safe than sorry.

I cant imagine living in an area where I get wiped out every ten years. People always talk about moving to Florida. This is a good reason not to.
