i personally think that Eb would be a perfect tuning for all Metallica recordings - sounds lower and meaner but not too low. just perfect!

Using Eb tuning myself I feel like it's harder to have perfect intonation all across the neck. But yeah sounds heavier !

for me, this way it kinda sounds like megadeth (although i only know a handful of songs), such as the way it sounds more like death metal or maybe even like those stupidly over-distorted modern metal songs
