I couldn't find a decent one anywhere so i decided to make my own with rock band 2. enjoy :)

True, when I first started this shit was literally impossible, but thankfully the tempo isnt too fast so once you get used to it, it's relatively easy to sing and play. Of course I still cant play any of the solos to save my life though

I don't think this song that hard on the picking hand, tbh. I think "Blackened" by Metallica is much harder, because it is all down picking and pretty fast. This song is more about precision, than burning your picking hand out.
Blackened has weird timing to I think it’s 7/4 are 6/4

No, you start the first note on the 4th quarter beat of the measure before the actual song, idk if that makes sense. Basically, the 5th and 6th fret A string are played 2 8th notes before the down beat on the first measure

Sorry, actually I think if you take the guitar out of 0:47 to 1:10 or even just 1:13 to 1:15 they seem closer to live Reprise while Dave gives band member introductions :P

Its easy.... he plays rock band without hitting the notes and recording... You cant play the whole song without hitting notes, but he plays many times and playing a little each

The only hard solo he does in this song is his second one (if you count the acoustic one as his first, which technically, it is). Tons of stretching and sweep picking in the beginning, and some quick shredding at the end. The middle is pretty easy though. The other solos in this song are dead easy.

Well they both use very diffrent techniques. Marty uses alot of sweeps. I suck at Daves solo's and I'm getting pretty great at sweeps due to practising Marty's stuff, so for me Marty's solo's are easier ;)... Still I cant Tornado of Souls. I think Marty is an overall better lead guitarist than Dave, or I'll put it like this: Marty can play anything Dave can, but Dave can't play anything Marty can.
But then again, Dave is the better songwriter.

@FenderUsa I know this is sorta late - but that guitar comes in whenever there's a lead part that's being played. That's how Rockband tracks worked - they put rhythm on the same track as vocals whenever a lead part came in, so if you missed a note during a solo it would cut out without cutting all the guitars.
How do you guys making those backing tracks, is there any program or tool or something?
I've never made one but I think its based on practice (or whatever it is in rock band) and you play the bits with the solo? something like that I guess
