As a Magda player, I humbly ask that you continue to say that there are no backup lines and that the deck is fragile. Thank you very much.
Magda doesn't have a backup to Magda... what in the world? Look at the lists. They're diversified and often running multiple gameplans to win, including gameplans independent of Magda or capable of winning through their own stax. I may be a bit biased here, but Cal is coming off as obstinate. I'll agree 5 feels high, but like Ian said this is based on actual performance not feelings.
Magda also has a huge amount of variety available to it. Other than the required 'dwarves' and clock, you can brew and tech wherever the meta takes you. Also you can use a few slots for unexpected curve balls.
Clock less Magda now exists. OTJ WAS AMAZING for Magda
Malcolm/Tymna is my main deck and it's been good just getting better now with more people taking the time with it and the results are showing. Delney is propane ⛽️ supahotfire🔥🔥🔥
Hell yes. Delney is powerful enough to warrant inclusions with her in mind.
@batboibob4910 once she hits the battlefield it's crazy the value she provides. I've gotta her countered because they knew how bad it would be.

Thank you Ian for putting some respect on Magda’s name 🙏🏻. The deck is a blast and it performed extremely well for me at path to the peak 4.
Also, most of us Magda players are playing dualcaster mage and a twin flame effect. So we do have backups, aren’t as good as Magda herself, but we aren’t just dead in the water without her. There are outs.

I've been on Atraxa for a while and I've been winning more by playing a she'll closer to Tivit with green than "parasitic atraxa".

K'rrik-related rules question for sake of engagement (well, that and I want the answer):
If you connect with an opponent with Tinybones, The Pickpocket, it says "when ~ deals combat damage to a player, you may cast target nonland permanent card from that player's graveyard, and mana of any type can be spent to cast that spell". I'm guessing this doesn't work, but since black mana can be spent, does that mean you can pay 2 life per mana with K'rrik? This doesn't strike me as an "alternate costs can't be paid with different alternate costs" type of situation (since this simply amends the type of mana while allowing for the spell to otherwise simply be cast), but I still assume for some reason it doesn't work.

It’s kind of a weird push and pull; the more eyes on the format the more the “good decks” distill down to being the best decks; and despite the product flood from wizards, there aren’t enough really brewable commanders coming out in the speed slush.
