    Hi. Thank you for your video. I learn a lot. But what I want to make sure is, do we store the purée into the plastic container when it’s just freshly done and still hot into the fridge or freezer?Or do we leave it to cool down first in room temperature before packing and storing?

    Hello. With the glass containers are we letting the food get to room temp before heating up in order to avoid cracking or thawing it then microwave? I didn’t understand that part. Thank you!

    • @lauricajones8195
      @lauricajones8195 5 лет назад

      Yes. Let it get to room temp. I believe she was saying not to take it straight from a cold environment to the microwave because of the temp jump.

    • @Buonapappa
      @Buonapappa  5 лет назад

      Hi! Good question and sorry if I was not clear. The suggestion is to wait at least few minutes before placing a glass container from the freezer to the microwave. Let it start thawing 5 minutes and than you can move it to the microwave. The sudden temperature change might break the glass. Thank you so much for watching!! B

    Thank you for this video! Can I ask how to safely serve refrigerated or frozen food? Does the food need to be recooked to kill any bacteria, or is it safe to eat without recooking? Is it safe to simply warm the food in a warm water bath? Thank you so much!

    • @Buonapappa
      @Buonapappa  5 лет назад

      Hi! Once thawed the baby food can be served at room temperature if it's a fruit puree or a baby food that was originally served at room temperature. Otherwise you will reheat it either on the stove or in a warm water bath or in the microwave for few seconds (use only ceramic or glass) to serve it warm. I hope I was helpful! ciao, b

    Thank you sooooo much for the video. The only question i have for you is : is it safe to microwave the baby food? I personally microwave the water in a then i place the food in the warm water. Is this a safe practice?

    • @Buonapappa
      @Buonapappa  5 лет назад +1

      Hi! good question. Somehow the microwave has a bad reputation :-) Before using it for my family I didn't my dose of research and reality is that there is no scientific study of evidence saying that the microwave is dangerous. Of course there are basic rules on how to use it like the kind of container you put food in. Never use plastic. I only use ceramic or glass as they do not transfer any component in the food. Also check the manufacturer instructions on the heat levels and when cooking for kids remember to stir the final dish as the heat stays in the center and you might have a warm outside and super hot inside. Apart from that, the microwave is safe...and for example way better than boiling :-) Thank you so much for watching. Ciao, b

    how long the baby food last for the room temperature? is it can store in Vacuum Lunch box to keep it warm for the hole day?

    • @lettuceeatbaby1811
      @lettuceeatbaby1811 5 лет назад

      I wouldn't keep baby food out for too long at room temperature. Bacteria can grow at room temperature if it is not properly sealed in a jar or pouch. You can always put it in the fridge for the day so it won't freeze again, but it will stay soft for baby.
