- Made a traditional STAMP used in Korea.
It is a stamp that every Korean must have at least one.
This is a Korean stamp.
It is stamping by engraving the name on the black part.
It is to be used instead of a sign when there is an important event.
I hope you enjoy the process of making stamps with silver and rare wood.
Thank you very much for watching.

감탄사 튀어나오는 멋진작품에 오늘도 눈호강하고 갑니다.
가죽파우치는 묘한님 작품이군요.
쌀쌀한 날씨에 건강조심하시기 바랍니다.

Wow again. Finally a gift for yourself Korean friend. It's about time and think about yourself. Again a beautiful and relaxing video from the master himself.
Thanks for liking my videos and channels.
I wish you always good luck~
This was a pleasure to watch. Mastery of wood amd silver. Your tool collection is top notch. Such grace and skill. Your hands do not match the hands of a person old enough to have such skill level. 👏👏👏.
Thank you for watching my video happily.
But I don't know what the rest of the text means.
@@SilverMeister you are a master of your craft. Beautiful work. 😍
Interesting manufacturing. Nice tradition with the stamps, good idea. More cultural.

Я кореец, но учтите, что я снимаю видео на английском языке.
Спасибо, что давно подписались на мой канал и хвалили видео
What stunning artistry, combining two of my most favorite mediums Metal and wood the Silver and Amboyna Burl is perfect together, I would love to see the making of the Stamp as well, but I understand the need for privacy on that front. As soon as I saw how you combined the silver and wood, I instantly subscribed, I can't wait to watch more of your work!
Your comments give me great courage.
I will try to make more useful and interesting works and videos to show to you.

I love how you have your torch set up. Makes a nice third hand.
There are several ways to use the torch.
I prefer to use a fixed torch.
However, sometimes I use it with a torch.

@@SilverMeister I was a goldsmith for almost 40 years and it never occurred to me to use a fixed torch. I think back now and realize it would have been the perfect solution for many situations. Never too old to learn. lol

That’s a nasty burn you have on your right hand! Take care of yourself as you work! ❤️. Very interesting and time-consuming work, but worth the effort for such lovely pieces. Well done. ❤️🦘

Can you please tell us how you did the acid etch on the left side of the screen on the hammer with the squiggly lines in it. I was wondering what kind of acid , and what kind of acid resistant you used to keep the surface lines. Did you just set the face on the hammer in the acid I presume, because the lines look deep to me. Any information would be appreciated, This Korean stamp turned out beautiful!!!! Thank you for making such nice functional art.
The texture hammer was made by myself.
It is made by applying nail polish or lacquer
to the hammer head and corroding the rest with nitric acid.
I will make a video of making this myself later and show you.
I would love to see that video! You make everything look so easy. Just beautiful!

Ooh, a dojang? Thank your for sharing this. Now I know something new! May I ask, how thick was the silver plate before you started forging it with the textured hammer?

Yes. It is called "dojang(도장)" in Korea.
The thickness of the silver plate is about 1.7mm, and the hammer is struck.

Bıçak sapı olarak veya sadece gümüş kısım çekmece kulbu olarak da kullanılabilir. Yine güzel bir çalışma. / This can also use for knife handle or silver part can use for drawer handle. Good work.

Thank you for subscribing to my channel for a long time and praising the video
Wonderfull masterpiece! I am not a jeweler, but can not stop watching your videos, such a detailed and perfect work! How heat can help to join gold foil and silver piece, it is below the melting point, right?
he thickness of the gold sheet,,,
A postcard-sized gold sheet is about 3-4g.
That's about the thickness.
It is about the thickness of a regular paper.
Heating these metals to a temperature between 260~370°C increases
the movement of the atoms.
When pressure is added, this causes an electron exchange at the surface between the two metals,
creating a permanent diffusion bond.
This diffusion bond occurs far below
the soldering temperature for either metal (Dhein, 2004).
Nothing is permanent in this world.
It may wear out over time.
Physical contact may cause it to peel off.
It doesn't go away easily with the passage of time.
Because silver and gold became one.
This is different from normal plating.
Thanks~
Thank you for the explanation, this makes sense.
That is so gorgeous but you should get that nasty burn seen to it looks infected & inflamed. It must be sore. I love the sliver of gold on the silver, how come it didn’t get sanded/ polished off?
The wounds on my hands were caused by contact with tools while working for a long time. not a burn
Wounds get better and worse and repeat.
Thank you for caring about my wounds. Okay.

What I used for 7 minutes and 10 seconds is not the bits, it's the files.
The file is a Korean-made "Samik" brand.
@@SilverMeister I apologize, I'm not sure why I had 710, it is just after that at 7:24. Thank you for taking the time to answer questions.
Thanks for showing all these steps to create a traditional stamp and love the leather holder. Your stamp is a stunning masterpiece as usual. Your fret saw work is a skill to aspire to. Curious what brand of engraver/rotary tool that is? I've been looking for one of decent quality. Thank You!!

Beautiful workmanship. Was the centre finder something that you have made or something you bought? If you made it, is there a video?
The center finder is made by myself,
There is no video showing the making process.
The metal is cupronickel, and the wood is umpingo.
