Seeing the display of stamps, i inquired (with the assistance of my phone translater) about having some made. The owner couldn’t have been more accommodating, showing me how the characters translate, then burning it with the laser. The hard part was fitting my daughters 9 letter name onto a small round stamp!
Ah~ That's right~ I hope the praised Olympics were a good memory. I agree that it is difficult to accurately engrave a name with a laser. Thanks for the comment~

That's all you see in the video. After applying heat, press and rub with an iron stick to attach, It remains permanently attached without any medium. This is a traditional Korean work method.
Soul. 灵魂。Wondering how thick is that gold foil? Nice build. I live in Shanghai and even I have a stamp. Used for official business like sending wire transfers, signing contracts.
@@SilverMeister American with 30 years in China. And the sterling silver seems quite hard. Even the new casting seems very hard. I mainly work with brass and bronze. Castings are quite soft compared to plate stock. Annealing helps. Would you say that silver is harder than 24K gold? I had the opportunity to work with a small piece of gold a couple years ago. We had to draw out a 8mm square bar into a 1mm square wire. No rolling machine so it was just a tiny hammer and a 220 kg anvil. The gold was a pleasure to work.
