저는 금속공예를 전공하고 28년차 전업작가로 활동하고 있습니다.
말씀해 주신 것처럼, 대부분 한국의 대중들은

Cutting a straight line with a saw is not a special skill, but it is the most basic of the basics.

MATTY McSPLATTY popular 925 silver is made by 92.5%silver, the rest of it is copper. In this video he mixed 5% copper into the pure silver, so it is 950 silver, it's not the perfect but it is almost similar like 925 silver; No difference. Pure silver is too soft, same like the gold. The pure gold for ring is ok, but for gold watches, 18K is the highest! "24 K pure gold watch" is impossible! Too soft for a daily using. The gold watch changing the shape when you wear it is no good. Same like the pen. It's all about balance. Lost a little bit pure silver/gold, get more stronger! It's worth of it. People still think it's a gold/silver shit ;)

Absolutely amazing metalwork! You customized the Dayacom pen and made it your own! The only thing I would have done differently is if I was going to go to all that trouble making the silver bands by hand, I would have chosen one Dayacom's fanciest kits, like the Emperor, or even the Palace Dragon.

I really like the craftsmanship on this pen, the silver with random marks was a really grat idea, and the method for getting the gold plating to stick to the silver was wonderful !
I would still like to suggest you use a CA finish instead of the Mylands friction polish because it never really polishes to a shine without marks. You can see it at 17:30 and it hurts to watch after seeing the sheer level of craftsmanship on the metal parts. It realy doesn't do your skills justice.
