Oh how Babymetal have grown! Been keeping tabs of on them since they first came out. I love how they can mix genres within metal... this seems like an evolution from onadari daisakusen, which was Limp Bizkit level metal-rap..... this is like Slipknot mixed with rap, which is so heavier. I have to see them live. I am so happy they are still going strong. Su and Moa just look like they are having so much fun still... sometimes I wonder how they do it and keep this energy? Great band. The musicians are awesome as well. I really appreciate they have good and raw music to dance to. Kami band would be good in ANY metal band. They have never sounded anything less than amazing, truly earning their title as the God band.
After their 10 year anniversary shows in 2021 they took a year off. And obviously having great crowds helps them, I think in some interview Su-metal mentioned it can be addicting. I think we've seen in the past with segs, drugs and rock and roll that performers crave those highs.
