In the end, some of the music was blocked, due to the fact that at all concerts the same sample is used in the background. I had to bypass the audio block too :)

I used to think they were lipsync in 2014, but when I started layering the sound, I could hear the sound changing when the mics were closer or further away from the mouth. For the sake of interest, you can analyze the micro-oscillations of sound, and determine whether she sang live.
Idk even when she did it with Yui they sounded like they lip sync. I always just accepted they lip sync cause it is not easy dancing like they do and being able to keep a tune.

Did you know that Moa taught all the Avengers how to dance? She talked about it in an interview. When the decision was made to take on the Avengers, everything related to dancing was Moa's responsibility.

Moa is one of the greatest live performers I've ever seen. Her stage presence has been amazing even since she was a child. Needs the spotlight much more often.

@@Toolness1 That’s not entirely true as far as I know. Yes, she had health issues, but that’s not the only factor that led to her decision to leave Babymetal. The health issues and the fact that she had the dream to start her own career led to this decision. So we will never truly know, if she would have returned to Babymetal, after she would’ve made a full recovery, if it wasn’t for her dream to start her own career.
Now that I've seen her in multiple different videos. All I can say is she's very good at camera no matter on which angle or whether it be a close-up shot. So that's how she charms everyone including myself. She's definitely born to be an idol.
even if you sing well, singing and dancing is quite difficult. I think Moa would have had no problem singing it live if she had concentrated on singing. But singing live while dancing is too risky. However, Moa and Yui sang live more often than many people think. But not always, of course.

Asian pop groups are notorious for lip-sync'ing because of the heavy dancing. For example if you watch a live performance of Blackpink, you can see that they sometimes live-sing over their pre-recorded vocals, but with all the dancing, it's hard to perform correctly and it's mostly very poor singing, actually they mostly shout instead of hitting the correct notes. Dancing consumes alot of your breath. In studio, no problem. Live with dancing? Only absolute machines like Freddy Mercury and Lady Gaga can actually pull this off.
I love the contrast between this and older shows. Back then Moa and Yui played it so serious. There was some playfulness, but it was part of the choreography to match the lyrics. In this performance Moa's having fun with the song and the playfulness seems natural and authentic.

sounds good and she did a good job but it does feel empty and missing yui's voice it made thier songs work because they did so well together and will be forever missed and longed to hear again. I never say never when it comes to music bands, kiss got together, as well as many others that went seperate ways, to perform a reunion show because the fans wanted it so much and the demand was there so I never give up on hope
I don't even mind the fact she is lip syncing this. She's more focused on nailing the performance as a whole so I guess a sacrifice needed to be made. Babymetal simply are top class performers, full stop

I don't know if it's true or not, but I read somewhere that two of the four babyfoxes here are Yagi Miki and Sakia Kimura, two of the five members of Metalverse (previously known as Chibimetal); it's almost certain that the four are ex-Sakura Gakuin, but what a good ending/beginning it would be that the 4 were the four members of Metalverse who were part of that group (SG).
Also, am I the only one who thinks this song would be good for Babymetal and Metalverse to play together? In a kind of teaching, like here, "the big girls who are already women, passing this on to the girls and letting them be the ones to continue with it", would be a type of goodbye for Babymetal, in the sense that these songs, which due to age and additional circumstances (such as Yui's departure), it no longer makes much sense for them to sing them today, but for the Metalverse girls, meanwhile they release more of their own material, they can sing and make them their own.
