I am fully convinced Su Metal can perform any song of any genre. Lol she is so talented. She deserves more attention.
Sorry to contradict but I am absolutely certain that she could never growl like "real" metal singers, female ones, like Otep Shamaya (OTEP), Angela Gossow, Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy, The Agonist), and many, many others (Jinjer, Eths.......).
Not judging, not saying it's a good or bad thing - just that no, she could certainly not perform just anything.

No harmony, no nothing, there is zero artistic value in that practice, sorry that's the truth, so Suzuka absolutely doesn't need growls or brutal vocals, if it can even be considered " vocals" at all. And i mean to say that i don't even consider brutal vocals a thing, a proper technique or an achievement or something of artistic value, so i mean Suzuka doesn't miss anything at all, and that out of the question, yes commentor is right, she can sing what ever she wants given enough time and training, she is that good. But she won't even bother with something that can't even be considered singing.

@Mitokman it was even better in the small venues in Europe, check the fancams. It's more raw and Su-metal and the girls have gotten better at performing it. And when the platform is moving it takes to long which is an interruption of the energy of the song.

@FreddyYUL Syncopation, rondo of nightmares with the kami band intro and Tales of the destinies (TOTD) are also good if you like the drummer. Or check out any of their live performances, they're absolutely mad in pretty much every song they perform. As a side note, for Su's vocals check out Akatsuki, No rain no rainbow, shine, Amore, Shanti Shanti and the ONE. I think they really highlight her amazing vocal skills.

I am stunned at how this band and these women (no longer girls) can continue to put out a better and higher quality production every time. The music is getting heavier and the women look like they are getting comfortable being rock stars. The attention to the quality of the the tiny little details is so Japanese and it shows that so many members of the team have been working together a long time now. Moa looks like she just owns this gig.

For everybody that have watched this song performed live, they can tell that Su don't need autotune..this is just a studio version they can do whatever mixing they want..
Su is better in concert, studio version is not fair with her powerful voice

I remember when I first heard this song, and not being too sure what I thought of it. However, I heard them play it live four times during their tour earlier this year and it’s an absolute banger live. The crazy vocal gymnastics that Su does during the breakdown- I was certain that it was some post-production effect, but no, she does it live on stage. Awesome.
She's flat out an amazing vocalist by any definition.

A backing track is different from not performing live. It’s so that they can get as close to a studio sound as possible. Certain sounds are simply impossible out of the studio.
