Thank you sooo much for helping me make 6 of these. I'm a part of a prison ministry and these are for ladies who have been a part of our ministry. This will be their 1st Christmas out of prison and in our transition home. God Bless you. I wanted to send picture but can't figure how to attach
Thank you for this tutorial! I actually used one of our existing stockings as a pattern to match the size, and then followed everything else on your video and I just love how it came out! Embroidered it and added beads as well. One of my favorite projects to date!
Thank you. I really enjoyed this video. I am sorting material from over the years and pulling out the Christmas stocking material, as that is mt plan for this year.
Great tutorial. Can't wait to try. One question: I'd like to add a cuff, so I was thinking extend the top of the pattern and then follow the tutorial with exception of the hanging tab, that way the inside fabric would become the outside of the cuff when I turn it. Not sure how to add the tab then.... maybe just hand sew?
Interested in yr chopstick method for sewing the topstitch lines accurately 1 1/2 inches apart. Can you link your tutorial for this to a reply to me. Anything that makes life easier that simple to replicate much appreciated
Cute stockings! Was your rotary cutter laying there open the whole time? I cut one of my fingers recently on a CLOSED blade. You were waving your hand and arm around your cutter and flinging stuff carelessly. I was on pins and needles for you. I apologize if it was closed but it didn't look like it to me. Safety first!

This stocking pattern will be perfect for my brand new granddaughter this year. Thank you soooo much.
Best stocking tutorial on the Internet! Easy, unfussy and to the point, mine turned out perfectly the first time.
Yay, thank you! 💕

Yay! Good work!
I like these instructions because of slipping the lining out of the hole you left to turn the lining right side out. Nice job, thanks!
I've been wanting a simple quilted stocking pattern. I love that it doesn't have a cuff. Thanks.

I love this tutorial!! Do you have a link for the fabric you used??
No, I’m sorry! I got it at Joann, but it’s been a few years and I haven’t seen it again.

Oh gosh, yes, I totally know that’s a bad habit of mine 😬😂. I will try so hard to be more cautious!
How much fabric and batting does one stocking use?
You need 3/4 yard of the fabric and of the lining 👍🏻
Is the tree and stripe fabric cotton or flannel? I just purchased both your stocking and tag pattern! Gonna make them for my 5 kiddos!
They are both cotton! I'e used flannel to line others, though, and it worked great too :)
I’m new to quilting and I’m curious about how much fabric I need to buy to do a stocking?
This stocking needs 3/4 yard of the fabric and the lining 👍🏻
