I'm never gonna be a quilter. It's just too much. i don't have enuf room for a table, nor the patience for all of those calculations and cuts and wasted fabric. I would've just taken that square and sewed it on then quilted over it. That's how I made a table runner and it turned out great. I can sit and slo stitch 5 inch squares on my arm chair. So I love watching your videos. Just like I haven't taken up crochet, but love watching. My daughter wants me to make her a library shelf quilt and I just dread it. They are really cute. Much respect and a hug. 30:28 😮

I do not like "dinky" insubstantial stockings. Thank you for this pattern. I have enjoyed all of your Christmas videos.

I love my little chalk pen for gridding for quilt lines. Just like yours. Usually just a quick brush with a firm bristled toothbrush will remove any chalk remaining. I've been making QAYG strips around an irregular focus fabric for my Etsy shop. I love that you talk to yourself about quilt math and oopsies.

Christmas in July would be GREAT! I struggle some years to start seasonal crafts early enough to complete them. Even one small Christmas themed project might help get the ball rolling for some of us. Lovely channel💕

I printed the pattern for the sawtooth star and made it today. It’s not perfect but I will try again. I need to slow down next time. Then moving on the putting it on a stocking. Finding your channel so helpful as a beginner. Thanks!

These are so cute!! Love the Little People fabric!!
Creative Grids has a couple rulers called Folded Corner Clipper that was a game changer for me when it comes to the half triangle squares/rectangles, line up the corners with the desired size, cut and sew!
Not sure if it's bad for my machine or not, but I start with my needle in the down position, butt my half square/rectangle pieces against the needle and start sewing, no more sucked in corners.

I snipped the end off my measuring tape. It was hanging around my neck and got caught under a section of fabric. It went from 60" to 42" in a single snip.
