I'm never gonna be a quilter. It's just too much. i don't have enuf room for a table, nor the patience for all of those calculations and cuts and wasted fabric. I would've just taken that square and sewed it on then quilted over it. That's how I made a table runner and it turned out great. I can sit and slo stitch 5 inch squares on my arm chair. So I love watching your videos. Just like I haven't taken up crochet, but love watching. My daughter wants me to make her a library shelf quilt and I just dread it. They are really cute. Much respect and a hug. 30:28 😮
We already have stockings, but I'm going to make this sweet little star for something. Thank you for the video, and for keeping it real about those little ooopsies. 😊
I love my little chalk pen for gridding for quilt lines. Just like yours. Usually just a quick brush with a firm bristled toothbrush will remove any chalk remaining. I've been making QAYG strips around an irregular focus fabric for my Etsy shop. I love that you talk to yourself about quilt math and oopsies.
Each time I watch your videos I add to my list of things to make. Thank you (I think...)🤪 Also, thank you for showing your human side! When I do goofy things I think I'm the only ditsy ding dong in the world!!!
Oh my goodness 😍, I've been binge watching your videos and tutorials since I stumbled upon your channel! I watched this one today, uploaded your freebie of the "Sawtooth Quilting Square", and I've just made one❤ I'm so in love with this quilt block, thank you so much for the free pattern ❤love your content xxx. I'm from South Africa 🇿🇦❤.
Christmas in July would be GREAT! I struggle some years to start seasonal crafts early enough to complete them. Even one small Christmas themed project might help get the ball rolling for some of us. Lovely channel💕
I printed the pattern for the sawtooth star and made it today. It’s not perfect but I will try again. I need to slow down next time. Then moving on the putting it on a stocking. Finding your channel so helpful as a beginner. Thanks!
These are so cute!! Love the Little People fabric!! Creative Grids has a couple rulers called Folded Corner Clipper that was a game changer for me when it comes to the half triangle squares/rectangles, line up the corners with the desired size, cut and sew! Not sure if it's bad for my machine or not, but I start with my needle in the down position, butt my half square/rectangle pieces against the needle and start sewing, no more sucked in corners.
So cute! I love it. I snipped the end off my measuring tape. It was hanging around my neck and got caught under a section of fabric. It went from 60" to 42" in a single snip.

Christmas in July, Yes, please! I need lots of time.
I do not like "dinky" insubstantial stockings. Thank you for this pattern. I have enjoyed all of your Christmas videos.
I LOVE this video!!! The design is perfect, really enjoyed your commentary as you went along. 💖 from a Minnesota Great-grandma.

Great tip!
Very pretty stocking. Definitely Christmas in July would be great❤
Love this so much cause I do this a lot! Cause sometimes I have to rethink things!
So cute! I love it.

Haha! I have done that!!
Such cute stockings! Thank you!
This is so great, thank you!
Yayyyyy Nikki 👏👏👏
Love It! Thank You 🥰❤️😀
Those are really cute. Thanks. Happy Thanksgiving.
You are SO creative, and your tutorials are excellent! Thank you for this - I'm looking forward to making these for my family. 😊
is it just my monitors or is that fabric gray and not green.
Oh funny, I’ll have to look with fresh eyes! Do I see it green because I know it’s green? 🤔 🧐 🤨
I see grey😊
It looks gray to me too. I love it though. Hobby Lobby here I come! 😊
Yup. Grey here, too. Either way it's adorable. 😊
Your stocking looks very nice ,your videos are very enjoyable to watch. I’m wondering what
brand/style of iron you are using in this video. Thanks
It’s Sharper Image, I got it on Amazon 👍🏻
12:57 just finished watching this video. Loved it!! The little clear/yellow ruler caught my eye as something I need. Where did you find it?
My mom got me that! Here's something similar: amzn.to/40QsxvU
Where can I pick up the kind of batting that you’re using?
What are those round magnet weights you put on the fabric? Did you make them? I like them
They’re not magnets, just pattern weights and I got them at Joann 👍🏻
Unfortunately, I cut the tip of my finger off! All is well, no blood on my quilt!
Oh noooooo! That is not a funny accident like my ear buds incident 😬
@PinCutSew I had more trauma committed by the independent ER than the actual injury. It was an experience
We worry more about the quilt than we do our own wounds😅. Hope you healed up completely.
