Wow this is a really very interesting way to make a stocking. Going to try it but want a bigger cuff so will make an adjustment. Thank you for sharing!!!
WOW!!! I have made a lot of stockings over the years, and I always thought they were easy to make, but compared to this, they weren't. I will be making all my stockings this way from now on, what a time saver. Thank You for sharing your time, and your talent with all of us.
I’ll be using your tutorial today with my little sister who is a teenager, beginner sewist. She wants to make a gift and this is, by far, the easiest method I have seen. Thank you and Merry Christmas to you!
Thank you for sewing ideas, great time savers. I sew for charities made 11 Christmas Stockings today used my overlocker saved clipping seams looking forward to making move of your techniques . much appreciated .
I completed over 30 stockings following your great how to video, just in time for our fundraiser crafters sale proceeds going to our neighborhood school@@megelles
@Megelles Matter of fact, that’s exactly what I did - watched your drawstring Bag video! Love your videos and I made so many of your ... little crossbody pouches
I love this method. I've accumulated a lot of scraps. Small, and medium sizes from selling first time. Making jean bags had more. I thought of making stockings. Even piecing some scraps. This one step to sew is amazing! Will share your video when I try some tomorrow!
@@megelles I just watched it. I'm so happy to find your channel! I make those too from tshirts. I let comment there. I will lookmfor your Facebook too! We ran errands to big town yesterday so didn't get to try. Will be trying stocking and bag today!
Wonderful video, thanks. Just one question. When you have your four layers of fabric lying flat on the table, ready to be sewn, are the two pieces for the lining lying with right sides facing, if you want to do a lining with a pattern, rather than just flannel, or a plain white ?
Hi Gena. Yes, you can add a layer of batting. Put the batting onto the back of the outer fabrics. You can then quilt it. Or you can use an iron-on Pellon or interfacing - iron it onto the wrong side of the outer fabrics. Then use my method. It works extremely well. Happy sewing. Cheers Lisa
❤❤❤this technique...will use this from now on. Thank you👍
Such an easy to make stocking pattern, thank you so much for sharing this xx
Happy sewing and let me know if you make some

Yes, exactly. They are right sides together. cheers Lisa
Love your tutorials. May I ask what model janome you are using please ?
Hi Emmaleen. Thank you. This one is a Janome 15000. I love it. Cheers Lisa
Hello
Happy Sewing.
Isn't the stocking way too thin without batting???
Cheers Lisa
From my Mom: So where the hell is the PDF pattern? Not subscribing here. You're too lazy to do something for the viewer. Dam.
Hi @billbottoms8295,
Thank you for your interest in the pattern. The usual response is to ask for the pattern template link.
Best regards, Lisa
