I LOVE this video on stockings. I am making stockings for my grandchildren; basically continuing the tradition of my precious mother-in-law. She made stockings for her children and spouses and her grandchildren! This how to video is perfect!

If you leave the opening at the bottom between the heel and toe, you can easily pull the stocking through. It’s a little easier and quicker.

I got the stocking pattern but not the cuff pattern of loop sizes. Help!
Same problem. I rewinded and watched 7 times to catch what the ruler said. I got 9x17 for the cuff. The loop…..I’m not sure of. I cut mine 2x5

yes you use a 1/2 seam allowance and then trim to 1/4"

Are you using flanne?
This red dot is cotton and the cuff is Linen fabric.

You need to tweek your pattern so it has a better shape. It’s a bit of a blob.
