Those steps and walls look so awesome! I love how what she says goes! Happy wife, happy life! Just tell him it's a flat surface to put down his beer 🤣🤣🤣
Now that's thinking outside the box! I bet there's not many concrete guys that can or want to do this. Make your team special! Great job & video. Greetings from the Old Jarhead
My goodness, after all the wood chaos the final product looks like a million bucks! Had no idea concrete could be used so artfully. What a magnificent addition to what is going to be a wonderful home. So happy you were able to.do this with your crew and for the guys. Truly a labor of love.
Great work Tom & team! You are artists for sure. Quick question, you seem to have a great relationship with the mixer drivers. Would you consider showing us what happens at the cement plant once you've ordered a truck load? I'd love to see a few minutes on that side of the process. As always, thanks for another great video.
Somehow I doubt that Tommy will be charged an exorbitant amount from TSH. Gosh, the care taken w the forming wood, w the braces and moving the stone and fill as the pour developed, knowledge and skill hand in hand there. I am truly amazed that Jim and the other guys were carving their own pattern, putting the artistic appeal into the wall, something I thought only Tom and Tommy would be doing. This really is a well seasoned crew, so obvious here. What else can one say except TSH is the best, top notch company, the elete in concrete work. You guys really do know your stuff. It's been a great pleasure watching this channel, I think I subscribed to you near the early days of your channel. I sure don't have any regrets, none at all. I've learned a lot! I really am thankful that you joined RUclips, now Concrete With The Hausses is a daily part of my life. Now again after spending 30 minutes w y'all, I'm so looking forward to your next post! What's next? Doesn't matter! Bring it on, i won't miss a single second!👍👌❤🇺🇸🇺🇸
I am now a member of "Concrete's Anonymous". That's a program designed to help those that are ADDICTED To "Concrete with the Hauses" Speaking of a 12 step program, this video provides some of those steps. :) Thanks Tom for another fun video. Lol at your walky talky chat with Calib (sp?) too funny...
You the man. Great vision and creativity of what the final project should look like. Although you might have opened the door to more projects like this. Great job can't wait to see it done. Great execution. Thanks for the video.
As always I am impressed with the teamwork. This time the sheer artistry of this family is amazing. You have something to be truly proud of. I love how the grandsons are involved. Pretty amazing. I love your videos and your family. Thank you for the effort of everyone involved! Hugs from Washington State.
The forms look like a really cool entrance to a Halloween Haunted House. Always be weary of the "family discount"... I'd really like to see the wife's reaction to this.
GOOD MORNING YINZERS!!….OUTSTANDING JOB!! Tommy will have to take out a college loan that’ll have to be FORGIVEN to pay for that project. Wow that was a lot of concrete. Can’t wait to see it when it is all finished. Catch Yinzers on the next one Have a Day
I built a large set of steps years ago and owner asked me to put planter in the retaining wall of the brick steps the whole length on each side. Nice job. Creative. Use gloves or in a few days your hands will be splitting and cracking...VERY PAINFUL!!! FOR A WEEK.
Thats the way to do it_ Teach them young. Even if they don't do the same work later it gives them a better understanding of many other things. I was walking ceiling joists by 11 and cutting rafters by 14. Geometry and Trigonemetry were so understandable later on as I was doing it with a framing square even though I didn't know it. Even better getting time w the grandkids doing something together.
A very different look , it'll be worth the wait to see everything finished , ground work etc! don't see much like it here in N Ireland , love the vlog's Tom, I watch yourself & Mike M every night
I do a lot of structural stuff. house jacking water abatement etc. that's exactly how I would've done that and you guys did a beautiful job where is the big guy say perfect execution.
TOM, got a few a comments, an a couple questions.... Looks like the crew was more relaxed physically when the pour started, BUT, they were 'bustin their hump' on the finish! Specially with that dry mix! Sheesh! So,... How many yards? 'n how long did it take on that pour? And, how would you even price that job out for a customer? Lol Just one more idea that you can show to clients of what yinz can do! Good stuff!!!
It is a masterpiece of beauty Sculpting with concrete But I missed where you put in a floor drain to keep rain water from flooding the basement. Is there a rain drain hidden there?
superb look gents ,, how do you know when to take forms off ,,is it time or just feel dampness n finally how yous gonna get the ply from the outside out of the ground
I think it would make a good video if you were to introduce all your team and let them tell a little about themselves and how they got started with you. Love the channel, been here from the beginning.
When pinning rebar, metal or fiberglass, to walls, floors, sidewalks, etc., Does the rebar simply sit in the hole or do you put some type of concrete or epoxy in the hole first? Secondly, do you have to hammer the rebar into the hole, or is it a loose fit?
Having grand kids hanging out with grandpa is really special. It’s even more special cause they want to hang with grandpa.
I sure enjoyed it
@@Concretewiththehauses I bet they enjoy too. I always did. They get to work with you learn the trade...next generation 👍
The pain of high cost dissappear quickly, while the pleasure of quality craftsmanship last a long time.
Memories the boys will never forget
Rom and Sherrys house is gonna be awesome when you all get done the concrete work is fantastic
Tom
Thanks

Tom, your crew is amazing to work so well together creating a unique structure that was designed on the fly.
Thanks
I’m a 69 year old lady but find this so fascinating to watch! You are all experts and artists!

I bet the crew enjoys occasionally doing something challenging and creative.
For sure

I believe the whole set was 24 yards took about two months to complete mostly waiting for concrete to dry And me forming at night
cant wait for the finished look and how you acid stain it
Nice rough stone look. Concrete trucks sure don’t get cleaned up very well
The best ever.

I think it would make a good video if you were to introduce all your team and let them tell a little about themselves and how they got started with you.
Love the channel, been here from the beginning.
I keep telling them whenever they’re ready and they just say not yet but it’s coming soon
That is so interesting looking and very creative. Have you ever done this for other customers before?
Yes but not many
Beautiful work. Which way is the water from rain going to drain from the walls?
I don’t think it’s on a playlist yet scroll back several videos and you’ll see part one there’s a drain at the bottom thanks for watching
When pinning rebar, metal or fiberglass, to walls, floors, sidewalks, etc., Does the rebar simply sit in the hole or do you put some type of concrete or epoxy in the hole first? Secondly, do you have to hammer the rebar into the hole, or is it a loose fit?
For the most part we loose fit so things can move a little
