- What do you know about Mindustry? It can be hard grasping the basic of Mindustry so I have put together 5 simple tips and tricks that all beginners should know. I hope you find the useful and please comment below for any future video recommendations!
for new players: just read item descriptions...
or learn them yourself. Trust me, watching high-level mindustry will teach you some things

@angelinacandra7987 I do hope you do NOT have one for graphite just put 6 on either side of the conveyor and add underfloor gates it will take less space
Fun fact/Warning: the duo spam used with routers requires the correct amount of duos, otherwise the copper cant get to further duos, and duos wont get enough ammo

How do you determine the correct amount/ratio of duos to routers?
@@diegoc5473 it depends on how many conveyors are connected
Right? If you don’t have enough ammo being used, i usually build until the ones on the end start slowing down
the copper will get to the duos eventually, but after shooting for too long, you are left with a couple duos with way too much ammo and duos without ammo. However, if you get to that point in game, you should be able to switch them for arcs and scatters.
1:30 It's not only simpler but more efficient. Using 1 conveyor line for more than one Item means it fully depends on not stacking and that all the items needed (if it's a factory) are equally required, example: Kiln. This happens because if a factory requires more coal but the input is the same amount than the rest, you'll lack of coal.
Lesson: Use different conveyors for different items/resources.

Who uses one belt for multiple items?? I'm not talking about efficiency but hell it looks horrible!
@@karjalasta Looks on a strategy game are not the main focus of that kind of games. If you aren't taking the game serious as heck yeah, the looks may be horrendous, but it's efficiency over prettiness. Good take on the subject btw
honestly there are only a few types of conveyors on how you use them

4. simple combat defense
My option its bad because if u olace too much router make item moving even slower
Combustion gens are not quite efficient but cheap in v6 a pneumatic on full 4 coal ore tiles can already power a combustion gen

There is a mod that makes steam generator even better
Its called v5 reborn
But you'll have to research steam first before you get access to it
Only needs 2 mechanical pumps to power one ,it is also tileable

The router spam to output ammo to duos is not effective, if 2 or more routers are next to each other, directly outputting / passing the items they get clogged up or rather say get much slow, it's faster and more reliable to have 1 router directly inserting ammo into the Duo then 2 belts from the side into the neighbouring duos
Does it apply to water also?

Vaults carrying some mats can explode and set off a chain that blows up the core.
V6, steam gems now require one water pump/extractor each.
Don't do router chains, they are slow and are going to get you lots of noob comments for doing so.
/\ But who cares if you play singleplayer.

If you still have v5 pro tip when miners are done building disconnect them from any power source to save energy that's what I did and they won't explode they just can't remember spawn

UUUUGH why did you use the swas format for covering nucleus with vaults
you could've fitted 8 vaults and 2 containers
its a minor tip but i couldn't bare you wasting a opportunity to get 500 extra item space

I don't understand what is the difference between sorters and inverted sortered. Both sorters seem to be outputting to the sides. The first sorter is outputting coal to the side and the second one - inverted sorter - is doing the same. What's the difference? Thanks.
The sorter: you choose which item type you want, that one gets to continue straight through and anything else goes to the sides.
Inverted sorter: the opposite, you choose an item type and that one is put out to the sides, everything else goes straight.

Even if you have a crappy PC and mic* download Mindustry from itch (anuke put the game himself there) and download recording and editing software for free its much better to hear someone than to read subtitles

there is 5 reasons why this tutorial will make players worst.
Good thing, as a new player I don't understand this at all
I don't like the emojis. They are too bright and distracting. They don't fit in the context of this video, and they don't add any kind of new relevant information either.
My intention was to add an interesting element, as there was no voice over. You make a convincing argument though and I really appreciate the critique. I'll keep this in mind for the future.
