malign could be better when controlled by players, as it stops shooting just to target another unit, but by player you can keep shooting so it won't stop
I think the turrets should stay charging attacks for about 1 second after they attacked last and not shoot unless it’s targeted another enemy, so that they don’t stop shooting at a wave of enemies.
they have animation warmup so a limited animation cooldown instead of instant cooldown could end making them far more effective than they are when controlled by ai
Killing one powerful enemy is a thing, killing thousands of weak enemies is another story, crowd control is key when dealing with a lot of enemies, even if they're weak
@@Fagerst yeah. If upu just fire in the general direction of the enemy its way more effective bc it doesnt stop firing. Its very powerfull. It might even be able to take down 2 scepters if it doesnt get destroyed
I have a suggestion. Since the bot’s ai is programmed to do a straight line and not like a circle swarm, just put a wall in the end of the passage way so they go like straight line again. But this time, put the turret at the side so that you will be able to hit more enemies. Plus, it would be more realistic doing it this way since ppl probably will do it that way when v7 finally gets to be released.
with malign and lustre you have to control it because they stop at each dead unit, and in campaign mode i doubt people will just sit watching the turret works
@@Fagerst lustre have a interesting working way though You need to control it to give it max range, as the beam have to move up slowly to reach it if there are enemies inside its range Lustre is a pretty hard to use tower, as you always have to sit inside to give it max range everytime it lose the range, but once you done it, it can kill tough targets with no fuss
To be fair it’s mostly the fact that the turrets with long cooldown times have a problematic AI, they target a single enemy and not the largest amount of enemies in a set proximity, like Malign wich has homing bullets but goes absolutely insane over 2 tile combat because it doesn’t know which one’s the best target, it is very funny though watching the turret have a stroke trying to find out who to hit next
Bro did lustre soooo dirty Ray damaging not only at the tip. Whole ray deals damage. Like, it's a good anti swarm turret, but only when controlled manually (or with logic, but I'm not sure)
You used smite and malign in wrong way. Players should control these turrets, as they have to wind up. They are much stronger, if you will control them

Malign can annihilate tier 5 enemys but fails to kill 80 small tonks.
This really shows that tonk is one of the most efficient units of all time :D
Issue is players have unit caps, can't build 100 tonks.
@@starburst98 you could combine tier 1 + t2 + t3
That would still be cheaper, and maybe still work :D

Malign's AI sucks so if the turret is controlled by a player, it's absolutely op
The Stells are very Cute! though
When i saw the malign i knew it can do over 100 being player controlled
Without player control it is very random

You can check it's efficiency by clicking it and you can see it's item capacity if it's getting empty time to time

Afflicts are insane because in v7 two can hold back 4 tectas. alone. Every single mindustry turret has bad swarm ai.
I like how after seeing the titan tonks decided to break through the wall instead
Stells are like daggers but they design is made to stay in erekir much longer with the temperature
use the mod (scheme size) there you can manually compare the required number of enemies!
Scathe are by far satisfying to watch as they remind me of anti naval missiles
Everybody gangsta until nukes are officially an item in V8
Love your content bro
I feel like luster is severly underpowered
I also think so
Would you say it is lack luster?
it is meant for single target dps
Lustre is amazing. Cheap ammo, shreds higher tier units
It's main job is to kill high hp unit, that's why it have insane dps, more than sublimate infact
Erekir stuff is gonna need some serious balancing
It's only stells, I think these turrets won't kill T5 alone

I see a confounding variable. You should have either put walls the whole time or not at all.

They just keep adding new stuff this game is awesome

Fun fact: diffuse deals more damage as the target gets closer
Are these things in the new planet update?
Yes
how do you access erekir content, public beta doesnt seem to have it
Look in electric gun's video how to unlock erekir content

You couldve used terrain blocks instead of carbide walls so the stells dont get distracted and it can be more accurate

did you know that there is a block called a heat source?
